Hmm, so TY is producing some silver hub printable media now. Too bad they don't offer it in the DVD+R format. Although I prefer and normally only use DVD+R media, I might just break down and get some of those discs. Thanks for the heads up redice.

Thanks for the laugh aabbccdd. LOL. I'm the same way, but the printable discs are looking better and better all the time. Just have to convince the wife we need the printer and then use up about 600-700 regular discs. Looks like it may be a year or so in the making. lol.

Nope, didn't work CincyRob.
Still say the best test is watching it on your own DVD player and judging the results of what you see.

Being Lazy Rob, I have the firmware update sitting on my desktop and haven't installed it yet, still have the open box in my office and haven't tossed it yet, just being lazy with all of the stuff going on around here with the kids and the Church and all, but you know how hectic life gets, haven't updated AnyDVD in a while either. My name is sloth. I love the new drive by the way, Lite-On rocks.
Here is the firmware update page for all of you who are following in my footsteps and haven't gotten around to update...

Hi guys n gal,
Sorry for the late reply. I didn't call meritline. I did look at the picture of IHoe's disc again. It looks to be the same as the picture meritline has. I don't like how you can see the ring around the center hole (hub) and probably won't get any of those shiny hub printables. I'll stick with verbatim DVD+R white hub printables for now. If meritline had those in smaller quantities, I might bite but I don't want 100.

Here is a recent scan that shows jitter using the latest CD-DVD scan.
Remember, I detest posting scans but this one seems required to show the working of the software. :-)

@blivetNC,
Glad to see that some other people are like me. lol. I don't know how many times I have d/l something for an update and left it on the desktop for who knows how long. lol.
@windtrade,
Know you don't like them but that's a pretty good scan with a LITEON. I normally get a little lower scores with the LITEON compared to the BENQ. I'm assuming that it plays just fine. lol.
@binkie7,
Just like a woman. lol. Reminding us (men) that Christmas is around the corner. Well, what kind do you want? Verb's (8x DVD+R), TY (TYG03, TYG01, YUDEN T02), Ritek, FujiFilm, or Prodisc??? LOL. Better yet forget about the first few and I will send you some of the FujiFilm and Prodisc. Whadda ya say?
@DocTY,
Sorry about the O/T reply but had to add m2c to the conversation. lol. Waiting on my stuff to come in so I can again report some good news and add a few scans to aggravate Creaky and windtrade. lol.
@all,
Good to see the new CD/DVD Speed test for the LITEON's. Been waiting on that personally. lol.

@CincyRob, Nah, Photoshop and Illustrator are the way to go to make killer DVD Covers. Nero is the easiest to use by the way, really simple to master.
