can I butt in here!? I have some news on TYG03s silver inkjet hub printables..... I was testing out the version of ConvertXToDVD as Cougar_iii told me it will now do a direct copy of DVD - DVD using AnyDVD in the background! Well I did it... burned a copy to an Sony RW disk which is RICOHJPNW11 then use Blindwrite6 to copy the Sony DVD+RW to the TYG03! well I've been getting terrible quality scan scores and have used Qsuite's Solid Burn to make the BenQ 1655 learn new write strategies for the TYG03s every time it writes a disk! This is the first time I got over 90% qaulity score...... but....... a funny thing happened. I noticed that the disk, which is a DVD-R, 16x, TYG03, but it copied the movie and booktyped it to a DVD-ROM! this is weird and I would like to know if anyone else had the same experience.
this is a first..... a DVD-R being booktyped to a DVD-ROM or so it says! LOL and this is the first time the scans were above 90% quality.

just showing you that the TYG03 scanned as a DVD-ROM~! As shown in the Nero scan! DVDInfo Pro shows that it also is a DVD-ROM but also shows that it copied the Sony DVD+RW and took on it's Manufactures name,too (RICOHJPNW11). Very weird thing going on......

In Options of Nero CD-DVD Speed you specify if you want to show book type or disc type
Get the doc to ban posting those damn scans.!

@mort..... I can't get image shack to upload my jpeg of DVDIdentifier showing the TYG03 as booktyped to DVD-ROM! amazing! but I will post it when Image shack is up again! sorry! but it does show that the disk is a DVD-R booktyped to DVD-ROM!

@ihoe - yes on second glance that is strange. I thought it was +R media. what version of cd-dvd speed are you running? most versions show the rev number in the top bar.

@windtrade.......I'm using Nero 6.6.0.18 sooooo what ever that is........ and DVDIdentifier also shows that this disk is booktyped to DVD-ROM and it shows it's a DVD-R, TYG03!
