on mine it did that if i cliked on the dos screen. just leave go and see what happens. maybe try decrypting it again.

if you go back through this thread, you'll see that I'm hosting cdvdgen which also comes with a nice little tutorial. ;)

hey the patch works you just have to keep trying it took five or six times before i got a good ISO. I did it the same way each time. THe last time right before i was going to start crying it worked.

Ok so I am still getting the same thing when I run the patch. It runs for about 2-3 seconds spits up the error message and closes though has created a iso image called DRK-MRC which is 528kb anyone have this happen?

I wanted to thank the person that put the patch up for everyone to download. I applied it to my iso mercenaries file and it worked like a charm. Thanks again...

It really works!!! Why go through all the trouble of trying to re-build the iso file when you can just apply DVDRick's patch? I used the patch and burned the patched ISO file using Alcohol 120% at 5X and it worked great. I used FujiFilm 8x printable media. I'm into level 4 with no glitches. You will need a big hard drive to copy this game. Still trying to find a way to do GT4. Good luck with that one. Special thanks to wulfie and DVDRick.

hi,i'm new here!
i had downloaded mercenaries for psx2..as usually i burned the dvd with alcol120 but this time the game freeze at startup..
i red that there is a walktrough for do it well.
so i tried but...
i have the iso file,so i open with isobuster and i extract all files in a folder (2.3gb for 668 files).
i open sony cddvd gen but i have problem with the right order of the list of files.
the order on isobuster is
sles_530.08
IRX(folder)
big.dat
credits.txt
esrb_p.tga
msh2temp.ini
ps2.ini
rs.ini
rsm.cfg
shellscr.txt
system.cnf
vehicles.ini
dataps2(folder)
i think that some files are missed..i'm not sure...
please help me...

i tried but the iso that i have is a italian-spain language...the patch works only with usa version of the game???
it generated a DRK-MRC.iso of 528kb...how can i burn???i cant understand...

i saw that the file have a different name,so i renamed it and now the program is building the new iso patched.
i hope it will works!

but the program returns me an error:
the last message is:completed!1 file error.
Now i have an image of 4.5gb..is it good the same??

I, like alot of folks have the mercaries freeze issue, I'm using dvd decryptor, I've heard of a patch, put dont know where to go to get it, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanx in advance!!

I backed up Mercenaries with DVD Decrypt and have not had any problems. I am curious why everyone else is having problems. Is it the type of mod chip?

Can somebody tell me what I am doing wrong!!!
I am trying to download Wulfie66 patch for mercenaries and there is no way it will start. When I press the link for the patch a new window opens were it is hosted but will never start. I have tried on three different computers.
Am I suppose to wait for it to start downloading? I had my computer waiting for over than 6 hours yesterday and nothing, it never started.
I am also trying to rebuild it, but how do I convert the files to two bin files? Thank you

At last I just downloaded it.
While I was running Norton Internet Security it would never start. Turned it off and started first time.

odd, I use IE, Opera, and FireFox and the link works just fine for me. I haven't really heard of anyone else having problems downloading it
