Too short location length. (Less then 600000 sector)
That's the error I get when I'm trying to record the game with cdvdgen. Do anyone know what's wrong?

Hi ho guys!
I did everything related to the patch but i don't have swapmagic... it's possible to use Action Replay 1.9 or ps2loader to don't get stuck in the load screen ?
any tips or hint?
btw: there's any way to get swapmagic latest version or it's a comercial program? and btW: it's hardware dependant like Action Replay ?
My play it's 4 years old so i got the neo chip very old chip.

if the file that you extracted is the same as the original iso, then just burn the new iso to your dvdr with decrytpter... thats it...

Whe I extract the file it is a lot smaller. Are you saying I just burn the smaller file only and not the iso file that I get when I copied the game to my hard drive.

the new file is suppose to be the same as the original.. if your getting a 528kb file or something like that its not doing the job. you should have a 4gb iso image that the patch made. it should say drk-mrc.iso.

Wow.... eleven whole pages and not one person posted any HD Loader information. I'll be happy to help in that dept. ^_^
For the HDLoader guys, I can vouch that it does work on Mode 3 with having to rebuild the image.

I still need help with Mercenaries. I followed "Winning11"'s directions and I'm still having problems. I know those instructions are for StarWars Battlefront, but will it work for Mercenaries? If so, what do I name the files (step 3L). Also, what Region? (I'm in the US). I also noticed only one error message (step 3M), and my files do not contain .000 or .001 (they're named .iml & .ims). I did combine both files (.iml & .ims into an .ISO, but when I went to play it in my PS2 (Swap magic 2.0 w/Flip Top), it turns pink. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Nevermind my recent post. I used the DVDRICK Patch and it works fine! For all of you who are still having problems, just make an ISO of Mercenaries and rename it "ptc-merc". Then copy and paste the patch in the same folder and the Iso file. When you activate the patch, you will see only one line of code (this is ok). Wait for 30 to 45 minutes for the program to complete (you should see 3 files extracted followed by about 50 different files in a paragraph and strike any key to continue at the bottom). Once the program is complete, burn the ISO file as normal! It WORKS!!! As a word of advice, skip the Iso buster and DVD-Rom Generator because the patch is much easier!!
