DevHook 0.51 is the best, however apparently the "Medievil" game doesn't work with DevHook so you have to use an older loader to load it.

I'm confused about all the firmware crap and all the different ones like 3.03 oe-b and oe-a and all that. i have firmware 2.71. I want to play nes and snes games and be able to play psp isos and play ps one games on it, which firmware will let me do all this?

the firmwares that let you do that are 1.5, 2.71 HEN D, 3.02/3.03 OE

u said 3.03 oe... do i have to pick between a or b or just any one of these will do? and why do people still have 1.50 if 3.03 can do all this??

it doesnt matter, a/b are just updates to the custom firmware. not sure, but 1.50 are a bit more customizable then oe.

how do i find out what motherboard i have for my psp? i am not sure cause i heard about 2.71 se and that hen d was made for another type of motherboard? can anyone tell me.. i am a newbie to the psp scene.

look for it in the stickies, its called psp motherboard compability or something like that.

I know it's a stupid question but I have already downgraded from 2.71 to 1.5 and then updgraded to Dark Alex 3.03 OE-A. I could run homebrew normally (despite the fact that the ones that use wifi are not working), but I don't know how to run the ISO/CSO files I have. Even with a custom firmware do I still need to run DevHook? I created a folder ISO but there's no sign of the ISO on the Games folder... any help will be very welcome!

you have to make the iso folder in the root of the memory stick, put iso inside the folder and thats it. you go to games, memory stick and the little icon for the game should come up with no problem. i am using 3.03 oe-b and its working good with my isos (mk unchained, metal gear solid portable ops, sonic rivals, blitz overtime)
having problems with some (not all) homebrews and emulator but thats a different story i am might open a threat on that....

hi, im just a newbie here, can someone help me, i have a CSO file, i cant play it on my psp, i have read some forums, and they said it was DEVHOOK that can play CSO files on psp. what version of DEVHOOK is good for playing CSO on psp. i have seen lots of version.. so guys please need some help. btw my PSP is 1.50 firmware. tnx!

right, if you insist on using devhook, i would recommend the newest version, i believe it is called DEVHOOK 0.51 BETA, and it emulates 3.01 firmware.

Please have patience with me as I'm new to this.
Downgraded then upgraded to 303 OE C Dark Alex
1.) How can I backup my UMD to ISOs?
2.) Is there someplace I can download ISOs for the UMDs that I own?
3.) How do I start an ISO? Do I need something else besice 303oe-c?

everything is already on this threat.... with the exeption of backing up umd...
1. back up umd use "USB Special System Storage 1.00" is reall cool because you save directly to the pc with out using the memory on ur stick...
2. I dont think we can give that info on the forum but... the best way is using a bitorent or p2p aplication. or you can always google it.
3. with dark alex 303 OE C you dont need anything else. save your iso or cso in the iso folter located in the root of your memory stick, go to games and it will show the little icon with the came press x and your ready to go.
4. you didnt ask but i guess i'll tell you... emulator or homebrews you have to save them on the game 150 folder and they will come out in the same place under games when you are ready to play them...

(It doesnt hurt to do little research before posting this is a pretty well organized forum and you should find all the answers with no problem)

i have the game on my memory card, i can see it when i go to my memory card but it doesnt let me play it

you have to be more specific... what do you mean you have fm 3.03 is it the regular fm or 3.03 oe-b or oe-c... are you trying to run a iso? if you have the regular firmware 3.03 you wont be hable to run iso...
