HI GAYS STILL NOT ON DID IT LAST TIME WITH YOUR HELP AM IN MANCHESTER GOT D BOX2 1.75 NOKIA 2 CHIP ON SPORTSTER. TYPE IN 00 AND THE REST THEN NEXT LINE 01 BUT WHEN BOX RESTARTED THE 01 LINE IS AT THE TOP OR EVEN SOMETIMES WE HAVE 50 LINES BUT ONLY THE 01 HAVE BEEN DUPLICATED BIN AT THIS FOR DAYS HELP IF ANY1 CAN PLEASE

Hi All
Just wondering if anyone can help. I've managed to get the new keys from Bigmaq for the 17th of April. However when I updated the keylist.txt file by first downloading using FTP and then uploading for some reason the data because 01/01/2008 with the time appended at the end.
Now the Dbox just say waiting for time.
One other things I did was delete the keylist.txt file once. I think this is what cause the problem.
Do anyone know how to fix this? I think I might to need to set the system time to be todays date but not sure of the unix command.
Any help will be appreciated.

Yes it doesnt matter what image you use it all depends on the Servive & Boq files you add to the image what part of ireland you in

Ahh thats the Boq files i will look for a later update for you to sort that issue

Hi

My system time has been set to 01/01/1970.
I change the system time using the 'date' unix command but when I reboot it changes back to 01/01/1970
What is happening here?

For starters did you reboot the box after pressing home button on remote and saving you should put the new auto roll file on your box to stop all that

Thanks for the response.
Basically I noticed the channels weren't working today. I got the new keys of Bigmaq, applied them, and then rebooted the box. Now all I'm getting is 'waiting for time'.
I saw another thread which was saying the this may be a fault in the box. But the box was working great yesterday.
Where do I get this new fix from?

Will it prevent the date from being changed to 01/01/1970?

hi mate you will also get the fix from the updates/fixes tab on bigmaq toolbar select your box type from the list & download the nagra 7,10&11 roms with the most recent dates on them you then need to unzip them & drop them (via ftp) into your boxs var/keys folder overwriting old files when prompted (you will find how to do this on previous pages of this thread)when youve done that switch off box at mains switch back on again & it should work

Followed your instructions and downloaded the following files for the DBox 2 of the bigmaq toolbar:
nagrarom7.bin
nagrarom10.bin
nagrarom11.bin
FTP'd them to the var/keys folder. I simply shut the dbox down as opposed to unplugging at the mains. Restarted the box, and I get the same message saying 'waiting for time' on every channel (included FTA ones).
Also I've noticed all the files have a modified date of 01/01/1970.
Any ideas what's going on?

I've also changed the CAMD a few times from EVO to SBBCAMD etc, which hasn't made a difference

Hi guys and thanks for all you help in getting my box working again, for all you guys having problems here is how I sorted my sagem d-box working again
Step 1. - I went to maplin and bought the following:
Crossover cable - http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?Modu...0cable&doy=18m4
USB to serial cable - http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?crit...&source=15&SD=Y
Gender changer - http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?criteria=JW58N&DOY=18m4
The usb serial cable will come with software, please install right away
Step 2
Downloaded DBox flashing assistant from here - http://hallenberg.com/freedownloads.php
Saved the new larky pro image file from here - http://www.4shared.com/account/file/4409...laky_pro_1.html
Downloaded WinRar from here - http://winrar.softwarez-depot.com/?s=gouk&a=winrar
Opened up folder containing the lacky pro image, right click and choose extract all
Step 3
Turn off Dbox at power source
Connected up crossover cable and serial cable (need to use the gender changer)
Opened up Dbox flashing assistant, searched for the lacky pro.img
Choose the network card I was using for crossover wire, ticked box for using null modem and choose com 1
Hit start
Turn on Dbox
Once flashing complete restart Dbox
I then went into settings and choose my area then scanned for new channels
Step 4
Downloaded Flash FXP from here - http://www.flashfxp.com/
Downloaded the bouquet from - http://www.4shared.com/account/file/3665...8/bouquets.html
Opened up Flash fxp and session (top right hand corner) and quick connect, you now need to type in the ip address of your DBOX, you can get this from the network option. Then fill in userneam ? root and password ? dbox 2. Hopefully the right hand box should show connected if not follow these instructions:

Now you should be connected to dbox
On left hand side of Flash FXP screen find the bouquets.xml
On right hand side open
Drag bouquets file from left hand box to right hand box and choose TUXBOX then open CONFIG you will then see a folder ZAPIT drop it in there, overwrite file when prompted
Ok you should now be up and running
I know others have not needed to totally reflash their box but this may be helpful to someone out there.
I do advise that you read the previous threads and try to update the Nagrarom files, the process is same as step 4 and saves totally reflashing but this did not work in my case
It should be noted that I am a complete novice but this above worked for me, without this site I could never have done this. For the more technically minded if I have got anything wrong can you let me know
