Hello!
I am writing with a hope of a response.
I am a newbie to this site, so bare with my ignorance.
I have did everything your page says to do, but..
I get all the way to burning the disc and I get a error that says that im trying to put more data than the disc allows.
I dont understand do I need to make the iso file smaller?
If so, how do I do that? I am using nero to burn, I had alcohol 120 but it was a trial and my time has expired.
Im sure Im just doing something wrong, but so far I cant find this topic on here, so I asked!
any help is greatly appriciated.
Is this something that is common? please let me know.
Thank you

You dont need to shrink the iso

it should be able to fit onto the disk.

Download a programme called DVD Decrypter
Put a DVD-R in your burner
On DVD DECRYPTER click the MODE tab at the top
Highlight ISO in the menu and click write
Under SOURCE click the folder, and open your ISO
Choose your burner from the drop down menu
Click the big button and it should work

Theres no reason for it not too
If it doesnt work, extract the iso again
if it still doesnt work then itll probably just be a bad download

NO memorex suck, they will work but down the line the quality will fade and have trouble reading and eventually overwork your ps2 laser, get some better media, browse the thread for better media types

I used Phillips and it worked great!
I did have to clean my Dvd lens but no biggie!
Use better quality disks and they turn out fine!!

lucky you, there are still better media at better prices, but yes there are some memorex that are good, if you buy the 25pack spindle you are getting decent media but if you buy the 5-10 pack with jewel case included you get crappy media, the problem is you just cant always guarantee quality with most media. stick with the good stuff, taiyo yuden and verbatims are top quality media and are consistent. If it says made in japan then most likly = good media, if it says made in taiwan = crap media. but use what you want i dont really care.

go here to look at media

Hi readers,
i have just got my ps2 mod chipped but am having trouble burning the games on my computer. Can you use the program DVD Shrink to burn these games? What would be the easiest way to start burning games?

i did what you said but it didnt work. I put the original game in and went ISO read then it thinks for a bit and says DISC NOT DVD. So it cant read the PS2 game? i might be computer dumb but you guys make it sound easy. is there a way to get around this? i dont want to waste the money spent on a mod chip

@ zanderm12:

Are you sure that the game you put in is a DVD-ROM PS2 game? I think I got that same error when I put a CD-ROM PS2 game in on accident :)
