have you tried right clicking on a file?
the option "replace with dummy" should be there

hursty you knwo the tutorial i put you know how its similar to yours, but i dummied DATA0_0 the 1.2 gb and dummied 01-06 and 97 and they all fit in cd dvd generator if i than continued using svstangs tutorial exporting the iml.iso, ect.... do you think it still work well......?

I dont really understand, hursty. I extracted and rebuilt DATA0_1.DAT(the one with wavs), and got new-DATA0_1.DAT and new-DATA0_1.HD6.
What about DATA0_0.HD6? Dummy it? or do extract and rebuild DATA0_0.DAT I dont understand, because DATA0_0.HD6 is small so it makes no sense.

i never said anywhere dummy those files
the only file i extracted with xpert 2 was data0_1.dat,which is the voice overs/music from disk 1

hursty i think your instructions were a bit off or maybe i am...why would someone use the data0_1 as the big file and data0_0 as the table file?? After extracting lba and files, all you get is a bunch of small dats...but if you pick data0_1.hd6 you as the table file, you get a grip of .wavs.

the iso is like 400 megs too large..what am i doing wrong??
Data0_1 is dummied, all the movies that arnt needed are dummied, what else is there i can possible dummy to get to 4.34 gigs??? I getting ghetto, ill try using gnie's DVD5 shrinker to see if anything happens LOL!

Folder 97 can be dummied, it only contains movies from chapters 1-7. With this dummied, the iso size comes to 4.4 gigs....still a bit too large.

@svtstang: the disc could be overburned couldn't it? As long as you have the right media (dunno if TY or Verbatim would be the better choice) it should support a little beyond the normal 4.xx GB. It all depends on the media.
This project has developed well, but keep in mind how 50 cent bulletproof & GT4 were downscaled. Dummy certain files & leave other ones alone. The part about teleporting to earlier stages will probably be an issue that can't be fixed. Unless the disc could be swapped out before the teleport (hex editing way beyond what i know) then the game will crash. For most of us, that isn't a problem. So leave that alone for now & focus on how to do RG just like those other 2 games.

Have you got the game yet gnie?,there are still a few bugs,i think the game needs re-linking for the data for disk 2 taken from layer0/layer1.
You can put all game data on disk 2,minus the .wav from data0_1.dat,but freezes on certain points
i not sure its impossible to have 100% working disk 2 rip,without some sort of tool
and for anyone else pointless extracting 2 big files,DATA0_0.DAT & DATA1_0.DAT.

Just a question, but I just did hursty's disk 2 rip, and it works (all the teleporters, etc), but I cannot access the factory from the main menu. When I try, the screen goes blank and freezes and I was wondering if this happens to anyone else, or if I did something wrong. Thanks.

I dunno, the reason I ask is that the factory works fine on Stang's rip (which appears to be exactly the same as your disk 1 rip with no MVI files dummied). The only reason I can come up with is that there's some wav file that is dummied from DATA0_1 that the game needs to open up the factory, and it can't find it so it freezes.

Yeah i know i could overburn, but what is the point? The TOC on swap magic is 4.36-4.37 gigs, so that is the major constraint.....despite not getting the same sizes as hursty, i managed to get a 4.36 iso

I think that is happening because the layer1 bin is overwriting the layer0 bin, ill make another copy and see if using the layer0 bin will make the factory work.

Hallo everybody iam new here its great!
And i got a question:
I have read in lot of Forums about rip Rogue Galaxy and i have tryed over 10 times to burn a working dvd but its not work.
I have the "Rogue_Galaxy_Complete_ISO" whit 6.48 GB! What i wanna know is when i bur this iso to an DVD-DL will it work?
ore need i a patch like the Toxic DL Patch!
I hafe the "Infiniti Matrix" mode chip!
Pleas tell me only the easyest way to get the game to work whit a Doble Layer DVD!
Because a DL DVD is very expensive so i will not try it if there is not a 100% garantie that the game will work!

I have a little list that you have to follow in order the get this baby working:
1) Download the latest WinRAR version and unrar it
2) Patch the .iso with Toxic DL patch
3) Load the .ISO with DVD Decrypter and change the Book type (Selected LITE ON - pick Next Write option, changed to DVD-ROM and then apply the changes)
4) Set 2.x burn speed, grab a Verbatim DL DVD and start the process
Tha'ts all. I'm playing it in my Slim, Modchipped PS2.
