Thats a direct link to it, or you can click my name to the left and access my folder to find it.
As for just the GOW plug in etc go to www.alucard.cc and sign up and request or look for the rest.

hey smokyrain ..
i tried using your rapidhsare account but after downloading the files the rar files wouldn't open... something about corrupt header? is that me or are the files not working? just wanted to double check

I dloaded the gow tool rar which contains: apache2, iml2iso, ps2_gow_pak_toc, pssdown_v1.01, rogue, toxic dual layer patcher-v1.0, xpert and zerofile.dll. Can someone point out which program is the gow tool to be exact? Why include all of this if I don't need them all to rebuild god of war? A little help will be greatly appreciated. thanx.

The PS2 GOWII PAK TOC is the GOW plugin you will need using Gnie's Expert Tool. It is for GOWII.
Yes you need all the tools that is why they are there.
Follow the tutorial.
That is the files I had uploaded, but just for GOW DVD9, follow the beginning of this thread. Sonix GOW tool is found here. You will need to register. His tutorial for GOW.

I believe from reading through this guide that it removes the duplicate psw files, and some bonus movies. Says so right in the first post by Jizmak in his tutorial.

Guys, after auto relink dupes and i get to the part where i am supposed to manually relink .psw with .pss files i find that all the .psw and .pss files are on the left side of the window so i can't relinnk.
I don't think having the god of war iso on second hard drive would pose a problem, that's the only thing different.

You have to do it manually so from the left side list select the first file
(?A01MP01.PSW?) and search for the same file but with a PSS extension on the right sided list, once
you?ve found it (?A01MP01.PSS?) select it and then press the ?Relink? button. Do the same for all the
remaining PSW files.
As you relink each file the list on the left should get smaller?continue until all files have been
relinked.
Once all the relinking is done you should see the following: Rebuild & Relink Complete.

ur not understandin, after autolinking was done all .PSS and .PSW files are comin up in the same column(on the left) so there is none 2 link it with on the right(which is filled with .vag n other files). i'm stuck at that stage. i guess this never happened 2 anyone else, then i'll probably have 2 figure this out 4 myself. i need help.

Oh ok should have read that better.
All I can think is that you missed a step before the relinking process.

nope, i followed it step by step and i did it twice just to make sure both times same result.
If i have a dl dvd burner can i just write the iso to a dl dvd-r with dvd decrypter or nero?

Yes if you have DL DVD burner and DL discs you can just write it using DVD Decrypter.
And as long as your PS2 can play Dual Layer backups, that is fine. You may have to patch the ISO with ToxicDualLayerPatcher-v1.0 for it too work if you have modchip etc.

i use swap magic 3.6 to boot my backups but never tried a dual layer backup before, what's ur advice shouldn't swap magic 3.6 be able to boot dual layer backups?

A modchip, a ps2 hdd with network adapter or the memor32 is the only way to play dual layer backups.

It costs about $65.00, but to me it was worth it. Too others its pricey.

thanx. but everything, not just the price, is out of my reach, i live in the caribbean so i can't just go to the corner store or buy online, if i do buy online i'd end up paying 3 times what it's worth by the time it reaches here. my only option now is to rebuild to dvd5 and boot with swap magic. I haven't tried sonix's method but any other method works but only for a part of the game - mine hangs at pandora's entry, i didn't even get to the save point and it was right there just a few steps.

I've got mgs(pal) but i want it to work on my playstation(ntsc)- it works but then there's the language and picture quality problem, someone mentioned patch - tried that and it didn't work.
Now, i've heard you guys rebuild ps2 dvd games, i even tried and proven that rebuilding ps2 dvd games work which is very easy if i may add kudos to you guys!!!! So how come no one can come up with a tutorial or a patch that works on ps1/x cd games?

Yes you could try the sonix tutorial. Thats the one I would go with.
And make sure you use good media to burn it on.
As for the mgs(pal), most PAL games work better with a modchip than Swap Magic, thats just the way it is. You would have to find a multi-language ISO for it too work better. And perhaps patch it with the PAL to NTSC converter or ADR Patcher .5
Just do a search on PAL to NTSC
As for PS1 backups, there are many tutorials, and patches can be found here.

following sonix's tut, the bonus03.pss file wont split - "gives me runtime error 6", i downloaded iml2dvd but when i try to extract it it asks for a password, why and how can i get the password? oh i downloaded it from 4shared.com.
