Does anyone know how I can find the MAC address? I want to have MAC filtering turned on to prevent neighbors from jumping on my broadband!

Not really DBOX related but to find your MAC address:

Select Start-Run from Windows Menu
Type CMD in run dialog
When command prompt open type ipconfig /all
The Physical address value listed is your MAC address.

If this sticker is missing, another way would be to backup your current image, transfer this via FTP to your PC, then flash it back again using IFA. Right before IFA begins to flash, the MAC of the dbox will be displayed..

Lads, am I missing something here?..

Why can't you generate your own services.xml?..

That'd be the most accurate, rather than use somebody else's..

When i got mine, it was set up to do a bruteforce scan for UK cable. It found all the channels but the like of rte didnt work. When I put in a local buddys services.xml, my problem went away.

I could have changed some of the other xml files to scan in the right place, but this was faster, and i was impatient.
