-rsx at 550mhz
-rsx is 1.8 tflops
ps3:CPU-Cell processor
-total of 8 spe's running at 3.2 ghz.
Cell is 218GFLOPS.

448 mb of ram(upgrading it to 1gb)
amd3000+
(going to have geforce 7800 soon)

Like Jhkmmer said if it was 400-450 i think they prob would have announced it already with no worries.
I think it will be somewhere 450-500.
If it really will be 400 or lower i am wondering what exactly they have taken out to lower prices so drastically

Think of it, xony usually sells they;re sytem 100$less than they make them. 500$-100=400$.
And they never took anything out.

Wow. Did this thread get really bad really fast. I'll just continue on the last post that stayed with the topic. So to kookoo76 read up some articles somewhere. They took out the ethernet router capability and decided not to put in the hard drive for launch systems and make it so that no games use it at all. That's what they took out.
