I too have seen the gears of war footage ,(if you are talking about the video which is over 100mb) did you see the part where they went into the mine and the two mine carts split up onto two seperate tracks? Can you imagine the co-op possibilities! It all seemed very well animated and i loved it the way he just fired over the walls without looking.

mass effect looks pretty aewsome and prey is less graphicaly impressive as it is made with the doom3 engine but it looks real good to play. There may be better trailers out there but these are the ones i found.
Whilst your at it take a look at huxley, that looks pretty damn good too.

if you ask me, i'd love to see the next gta should be placed in the 1920's mobster times of chicago. will all the old gunas and cars. it would be awesome. maybe the character was the grand dad of tommy vercetti.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

thanks chimpanel for the links.
yeah i watched that gears of war footage when they go into the mine. they said that the frame rate of what we saw is going to be at least double that when it comes out and that it was only using one of the cores from the xbox 360. oh and thay also said that they did all of that work after only having the xbox 360 for two weeks or something.

yeah i know. but like i said, i ride the middle but when 360 pro people come into here, i have to counter them or hey overwhelm. sorry, like i said. f the ps3 blows after ces im getting a 360. i doubt it will, in my oppinion.

dude chimpanel the mass effect trailer is just as good as killzone if not better.
i saw an interview with a person from the design team of war devil which is another game which looks really good (trailer), anyways the guy said that when the game comes out it will look very close to what the trailer did. and after seeing mass effect i do think that in about 3 years they should be able to get that kind of graphical power, i mean the gears of war footage had every thing against it: it was only half done, the screen was too dark as mentioned by the GOW designer so i am guesing that when it comes out that it will look great and there for meaning that there will not need to be that big a leap in graphics from gears of war to mass effect.

chimpanel i watched the prey video, it looks like a whole load of fun, but i watched the pc version i think maybe the xbox 360 version might be better.
i can not believe i used to think that no game could get any better than doom 3. (it must of been the hype getting to me)

wow huxley looks like it can become a great game all it needs is a bit of polishing up and thats a ps3 killer, lol, as they like to say.

fazyninja they do look gr8 don't they, I remember seeing doom3 aswell and thinking wow it will be a long long time before anyone comes up with graphics better then that, and now I wouldn't say doom3 looks dated, far from it, but I am seeing these games which make doom look old. I have seen war devil with the robot type animals, the graphics look amazing don't they, here's a link to the trailer for those who want to see it

Finaly people are looking at the 360 video's. This is so refreshing. People actualy looking on both sides except just the one or mainly on one side with the short glimps at what the other side has to offer.
I will say again that CES has to come about before any rash desisions but from what I have seen and the evidence I have read so far the 360 looks a very promising choice.
Mass Effect looks awsome. Motor Storm on the PS3 looks awsome but please can Sony have someone playing to prove its real time. That is how Sony will convince me, not showing a clip becuase of thier past reputation with deseption. However I thought Gears of War and Mass Effect graphicaly look as impresive as Motor Storm but maybe Sony can show me some nice things at CES.
Also anubis I thought your Idea of a 1920's GTA would be awsome You should seriosly post that idea off to Rockstar.

zelda watch the trailer from huxley that chimpanel posted yesterday. if thats close to ingame footage then all it needs is some polishing up and it could be a really good game.
are they gonna have xbox 360 at the ces show b/c nobody has talked about them only how sony will be there?

Yeah I have already seen the Huxley trailer ages ago. I hava also read the preview and it looks like it is going to be a very good game.
I dont know if the 360 will be at the CES but I dont see why not. Everyone is very excited (including myself) about Sony's presentation at CES becuase sinse May Sony have been very tight lipped.
It will be good to see what Sony will show. I just hope its not going to be clips of games again (which it most likely wont) I want to see them play the games.

i think sony beng so tigh up was the perfect plan. will nothing but soecs and a few clips out there, it will make the CES show more amazing since you'll hear it all thats never been herd before.

The problem with sony not saying a word is that I thought near the release of the 360 they would release a load of information and video's to try to kill the hype surrounding 360 but they didn't. Whether it was because they actualy had nothing new to show, were waiting for ces or had some other plan i don't know.

Also remind yourself that ATI said this. An engenier for the 360. Holy c**p stop this insanity. Why do you use such biased articles like this? Ill say this yett again, obviosly someone from sony, who engeniered the ps3 would say the ps3 is better, and obviosly someone who engenierd the 360 would say the 360 is better.
And obviosly this person is being biased aswell, ever since he is compairing the 360 with a gtx7800. WTF? The ps3 is going to be way more powerfull than the geforce 7800gtx. Why is he compairing it to the geforce 7800. Oh, ill give you the answer. It's because he doesnt know sh** about the ps3, since they never revieled 60% about the graphics card. He thinks that the rsx, is a 7800? What a good way to compair somthing.

ok kookoo even if they are all lies about the graphics card than what do you make of the cell vs core. (i am noy hear for a fight but its clear that you know more than me about hardware so i just want to know what you made of all those guys at the end who were talking about the core vs cell.

Which ones? The smart ones? or the fanboys that pop up once in a while? W8 didnt i say that the 360's cores are better than the cell? And dint i say that the rsx wil have better graphics?
