thts wot i was saying.. in the mag people write in wiv their comments and own reviews and views on products, not jus the company spokes people.. tho i've read them aswell and m$ are saying that sony are putting up a gd fight and only time will tell..

anubis, MGS4 is real time footage. It was stated as real time about 1 month ago and Hideo Kagima (sorry about spelling) shows a demonstration of it being real time. It looks amazing. I really like Metal Gear Solid so it looks like it will be a very good game. Hideo Kagima states that it can be also produced on the 360 and hints to a metal gear maybe coming to the 360. If I buy the 360 I hope he will do a Metal Gea for 360.
Want to see somthing thats just as good graphicaly and is real time. It looks amazing and is called Gears of War.

This is why I am still a bit sceptical on the PS3's power until January.

MGS went on the xbox too. I remember that. But it came on the xbox much after it came on the ps2.

Oh Yeah. I remember now. Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance. Well anyway in an interview with Hideo Kajima (which I can give a link to if you wish) states that he can produce the same graphics on the 360. So hopefully it will come out on the 360 if I decide on getting the 360. If i get the PS3 I wont have to worry about it but unfortunatly I will miss out on Halo and Gears of War.

well zelda, looks like 9 days till ces. after 12 days, we will have a whole new line up of info and stats to compare again. this discussion used to have like 15 post a day but the info has be overused. 12 days, and it will be up again, will people telling how much better their system is than the other. i think these compressed videos do little justice, and im trying to get tickets to go to the ces.

if sony fails it will be the last time i support them. i wonder if it will live up to their hype.
i believe the xbox 360 will be exactly like the case of the dreamcast. insane and overused hype, and it doesnt live up too it. thus causing the demise of sega's console career. anyone think about this?

i wonder what sony is doing right now. probably waking up to work. i think they should release a small snippet of the ps3's new details and but up some suspense, and then come out full force saying everything great about it.
i bet, if sony does well at the ces, MSG officials will be shitting themselves

I think Sony will do really well at this Ces presentation, dont you think anubis?
I think the final design of the PS3 controler will be awsome and the games they show will look just as good as Killzone2 but this time someone will be playing them to prove they are ingame, wouldnt you agree here anubis?

Of course it will be true anubis. Even if it isnt true $ony will make it appear true.
I knew you would come out with somthing like that. Stop refering to Sony as a loved one. Research more on the 360, listen loads to the CES convention, watch more game demo's on both console's, dont take Sony's or Microsofts word that the games they show are in game, wait for someone to play the game and that way you will not be decieved by thier words. Sony might pull it off and have someone there playing Killzone 2 which will be awsome and it might sway me towards PS3 but I will take it with a pinch of salt until Microsoft show me what Halo 3 will look like. If killzone 2 looks a much better game then it is most likely I will buy the PS3.
One final thing. As I work in sales the best way to get a sale is to work on peoples emotions and get them all excited. This was done with the 360 marketing creating a sense of rush and people feel paniced to buy a 360 becuase it is popular when this is not true. I can see the sony people here getting very very excited when the CES convention is shown (i will be too, just like the Sony E3 press conference) but sit back and watch it again. Listen and watch what they show then you might notice the few lies Sony portray just like they did to all of us back with the PS1 and 2.

Well no because its a Sony thing, isnt it?
Anyway there is plenty you havent seen on the 360 side. read more and watch more on www.xbox360news.com, IGN and gamespot.
A good news site for PS3 is www.ps3today.com. Both www.xbox360news.com and www.ps3today.com are made from the same team, and what they do is go around collecting as much news on both consoles from all the websites.
Finaly I want to say that I was convinced the PS3 was best choice after E3 until I got over the excitment and read more on the 360. Maybe Sony can convince me with thier next presentation? What ever happens I am going to read as much on both consoles and compair them fairly.

Yes I do. For the last time does anyone actauly read my posts. There is a video of someone that plays 'Gears of War' that I said for you too look at Kookoo but you said your internet speed was too slow so you would download it over night. Looks like you havent done that.
I also told anubis too have a look and it looks like he hasnt done that either. The reason why anubis hasnt done it is becuase the game is on 360 and not PS3. If it was on PS3 I am sure he would have watched it ages ago.

yeah the gears of war in game footage is really really good. its not killzone but we all know why (pre rendered). killing day looks good on the ps3 i must say but for me nothing beats gears of war. oh and how can people just come out with things like killzone will beat halo 3 when we have not seen anything from bungie.
i like fps so i will be going with xbox 360.

oh and zelda is correct when he says sony is good at lieing. i mean look at psx they said it was going to be 4 times better than the xbox.
and all the stuff they are saying now about ps3 they said the same thing for ps2 like it will have toy story graphics.
i am not saying that the ps3 is not going to be good its just that well its hard to beleive anything they say, not that M$ is too different but i have an xbox 360 and considering that the launch games were rushed they look pretty darn good (pgr 3)

Kookoo when you see the video you will see that it is real time and looks very good.
Thankyou fazyninja, I think you are the only one (besides me and chimpanel) that has seen that Gears of War video. What do you think of the gameplay elements? Also have you seen 'Mass Effect' and 'Prey'?
anubis, have you read the link what fazyninja has given. I like to hear from a neutral developer (well more on Sony's side) what the next generation consoles are capable of in power and when you have someone like Hideo Kojima a well established developer saying

This gives me good indecation (seeing as he is a developer with the final PS3 dev kit) to how similar in power both consoles are. This was the type of person I wanted feed back from to how different in power the 360 and PS3 are and what he says in a nutshell is that thier all quite similar in power.
Oh yes and anubis you gave me a link to a biased magazine called PSM: 100% independant PS2 magazine. Also I found it a bit hard to read but it states that Killzone 2 was running at less than 5 frames persecond then was speeded up to 60 frames persecond. (I have read this artical before off the internet then was told a few weeks later that it was FMV) I am sorry but that is as good as FMV if you are to believe the PS2 magazine. There is no way you can play a game at less than 5 frames persecond. This is not proof of the PS3's power. Like I have said many times before we will have to wait until CES where hopefully we will see more of what the PS3 can do (without the lies of Sony).
