Well my opinion is that the graphical difference between the 360 and ps3 will be minimal, with the ps3 just taking the lead and yes I like a console to have power but as long as it isn't no large power difference then I am not concerned. So I start looking at other features such as online play which microsoft has put a lot of effort into and me personaly I love CS and WOW and I can't w8 for similar nxt gen counterparts to come out on the 360. As for addictive they bloody well are and I could see how pple could get hooked on them but ive always been able to control how much I play and not go over the top.

None of us can give a true oppinion to the PS3 as of yet. One thing I would like to say is that in terms of making the 360 (not in terms of manufacturing and releasing the console) the 360 wasnt, I repeat wasnt rushed.
Microsoft had been working on the 360 for 3 years, this rush that is being described is on the basis of the console being released to the public. This was done on purpose. Its a marketing ploy I have learned before and have seen many times before like with the release of the PS2. It makes sense creat demand and you get hype and media. Microsoft is a multi billion dollar company wich hired people that know what they are doing like Peter Moore who used to work for Sega.
Before I go on, who here has seen in game footage of GEARS OF WAR and MASS EFFECT?

The development of the 360 wasnt rushed, but the manufaturing was. sony is taking more time with the ps3 though.

Oh and please stop doing that. I didnt even mention anything about the PS3 so why stick up for it?It wasnt ment to be a retaliation against PS3 it was a retalaition to those who think the 360 was rushed. Also what is this thing that people have in thier heads that PS3 is delayed so it isnt rushed? Do you have evidence for this? For all you know Sony could be delaying becuase thier blue ray disc drive technology isnt ready yet or number of other reasons.

come to think of it, zelda your right.. i remember reading about PDZ and on one site it said it was put aside and being developed for a side project.. i read that ages ago.. on rare i think, not sure mmm..
but yeah, that means 360 was in deveopment for quite a while wouldnt ya say?

it was in development for a long time. microsoft took how effing long with the xbox? like 5781983456 years? time doesnt always mean better. just because it took longer to make, doesnt mean the product will be better, expecially if the manufactuing is rushed so it can sel early. 360 sales will drop decently after january or february.

kinda of topic but.. i consider computers to be a form of life. anyone agree? i mean they can think and act and stuff. sound card is the voice, video card the eyes, motherboard and things the brain, etc etc. you may go "they can only do what they are programed to." but in had robots do thing i didnt ask them to. plus even if they are programed arnt we? we are taught math science history and so on. we are taught how to act by our parents and the media. seriously..

Microsoft Boss Attacks Sony PS3

Microsoft's Peter Moore, who oversees marketing and first-party game development for the Xbox 360 said that the Sony PlayStation 3 will be inferior to the Xbox 360.
You tell that to all the people that thought Xbox 360 was going to have super-duper DVD technology, and all the people that are already disappointed in the lack of Xbox 360 units available, while some consumers call the Xbox 360 launch the most horrible and mismanaged launch for a video game console.
Speaking about Sony PlayStation 3, let's not forget what the die-hard fans of Sony PS3 thought in Japan. You know, Sony-land. Japan consumers made it clear that the Microsoft Xbox 360 isn't the same type of next-gen console they wanted. Afterall, Sony is promising all the DVD and HD goodies for the PlayStation 3.
I am sure that most of the gamers in Japan just laughed at what they saw, after learning a bit on what the Sony has planned for the PS3.
Microsoft is left with complete embarassment after the Japan launch. Xbox 360 retailers in Japan still have plenty of stock on shelves. Shoppers are just walking by.
Meanwhile, there is a shortage in North America and Europe, causing Xbox 360 pre-order consumers to become angry, and perhaps, regretful that they even placed any money for this console. Still waiting, since mid-November, still no Xbox 360.
Amazon really messed up this launch even further by taking November pre-orders, then launching some "early-bird" special to allow new consumers to buy the Xbox 360 right away. Again, putting the Xbox 360 pre-order consumers back on the bottom of the stack.
Microsoft does promise new shipments before Christmas, but not that many. Here we go again, another "2 or 4" Xbox 360 consoles for eachr Wal-Mart!
How long can this go on before the game market shifts to Sony PlayStation 3? If Microsoft really wants us to believe that the Xbox 360 is this giant-muscle console that will dominate Sony PlayStation 3, they are wishing. I mean, it's another marketing hype thing.
I am sure when Sony or Nintendo Revolution launches their game consoles, it won't be the total disaster we've seen with Microsoft. The largest software company in the world has an excuse for everything -- on why there are shortages, and why their console is the best.
And now comes the dreadful noise from a Microsoft top boss trying to convince people that the Sony PS3 cannot compete with the Microsoft Xbox 360. Geeze, not so fast there, Microsoft. Get your own problems fixed before making such accusations.

The reason as to why I bought up the long development of the 360 is because you guys wouldnt shut up about this rush job of the 360. Then you contratict yourself saying the PS3 will be better as Sony are taking thier time making it but then go on to say

Back on xbox360 vs PS3 thread, there is a noob that posted a biased source of information and everyon desided to rip his throat out.
Now here is anubis doing the same thing with
taken from http://ps3-evolution.dcemu.co.uk/ and no one is having a go at him for it? Is this because everyone likes the PS3 so they dont mind what they are seeing here, I think it most likely is.
Well if you lot arnt going to say anything I will. Anubis stop being a noob and stop posting usless biased information like that.
Back to the launch of the 360. It wasnt great but it wasnt a disaster. I dont know why everyone is saying its a disaster when I experianced exactly the same problem with the launch of the PS2. It was short in demand, and pre order's went all over the place.

That just shows how much this guy doesn't like m$ and how biased the source is as he sticks in his own opinions and negative wording to make m$ sound like the next anti christ. But saying that launch didn't go fantastic, in fact looking at the japanese market here most japanese pple say they won't get the 360 until some of the rpg's like lost odessye and blue dragon come out all the whilst there are shortages in the U.S.A, doesn't make sense. Anyway all that doesn't bother me cos ime in auss and when it comes out here I will definitly have my hands on one. And computers = life forms???? WTF??

if you notice on the left hand side, that site supports all systems. they have a dif poage for everything even 360
and seriously m$ should worry about themselves first so they can win. if they dont fix what's wrong what change do they have?
and time was used well on the xbox i did not say it wasnt. same goes with ps3. the 360 had dev time but was way to fast pushing out.

But it is partly true, M$ is constinly making fuss about sony. "sony this... sony is goign to loose 1billion because of ps3, said from a m$ engenier" Attack on sony"
And all the media fuss about xbox360 being sold out is making it look good. But actually, currently it sold less than the original xbox because of the shortage.

Anubis the SITE may be multi format but that POST was clearly done by someone with an anti microsoft view, it's plain to see as I show in my post above as I discuss. Now like I also said yes that post wasn't completely false but I wouldn't want to take information from such an obviously biased source.

You really get to me somtimes Kookoo. On one hand you hate biased infromation but when somthing biased towards 360 is posted you suggest it as ok. This is not fair and you know it. Just because Microsoft have done a good marketing sacm (which evry company does) you get a little upset.

If thats the case Kookoo then again why was it deemed ok to post a biased piece of information from anubis? Second of all if you like the 360 equaly to the PS3 then why is you dont check out the clips from 360 as well as those clips (wow look at GT5) from Sony?
Finally, seeing as its ok to be posting this biased information now, here is a pice that was posted on here earlier by someone but Kookoo thought of it wrong (unlike what anubis posted).

One final thing. If you claim you are non biased towards either company then why on earth does it seem like you are biased towards PS3?
Also if I was as narrow minded as anubis I would still be buying a PS3. Why, you might ask? Because he only looks at one thing with his tunnel vision and that is PS3. He looks at PS3 news, PS3 video's, PS3 games. What does he look at when it comes to 360? A quick touch of the controler (having negative thoughts before even touching the thing) and all the information posted about 360 from a PS3 biased site. Well its because I am not like anubis that I like to see what all consoles have to offer and so far 360 seems to be the best, however it would be best to wait until January to get more of a scoop on the PS3.

As i already said, my internett goes only 128 kbs, and 56kb sec upload. If i were still downloaidng it it would be finished in 2 hours from now. I have crap internet. Second ff and GT are my fav games. I just wanted to show people it who are curios about gt5, i didnt make a statement of anysort except it looks real nice. And that the file is only 25mb. I have hte time to download it.
