Yeah, but to buy or upgrade a computer to ps3/360 level of graphics, will cost an arm and an leg......and a kidney
Plus. Having a console, you dont need to worry about viruses, or bluescreens of death you can just pop in a game and play

sounds like a mac to me.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

well.
ps3=9
you know my feelings and the details of, so im not gunna repeat myself. on the top of my list tho, best graphics and most to offer, like more bang for your buck.
xbox 360=5
doesnt have much to offer. had many issues. not worth what you pay. nothing next gen. it has nice graphics, but its still no george clooney. you know many of my other distastes of the 360.
wii=6
better than the 360, but not in graphics by any means. i dont much like the idea of the wii-mote tho, it f***s with my symmetry. the games dont seems to please me. it seems we have another console aimed at a younger audience from nintendo, they are to most likely to buy the little games and less graphical games aswell as more likely to want to get up and swing around (a requierment of all wii owners).

Wii: 8
A gread direction for nintendo to be heading. Innovative and riding the success of the DS handheld. The launch title list is tremendously strong, and probably the best out of the 3 competiting systems. more 3rd party support, and hopefully more fun than traditional gaming. The cheap price is a double edged sword, and the wii lacks significant horsepower in comparison to the 369 and ps3. I wouldn't mind a few more shader piplines and an extra couple hundred mhz for the clock speeds of broadway and hollywood, but I don't see it as a significant problem for the Wii's direction.
360: 6
still sort of a lackluster gaming library at the moment, but gow and halo will bring my opinion right back up in there, because I loved halo. a decently priced system with a lot of options, and microsoft working to really make some quality software and services with xbox live and the microsft live.
ps3: 6
A great package of high end technology. At a hefty price. And despite a lot of negative press, the "playstation" name is as powerful as ever, and I don't doubt that the ps3 experience will be any less than what should be expected of Sony.

PS3 : 10...then fell to a 9
all the negative press, and kutagri just keeps puttin his foot in his mouth. but still, i had a ps1, ps2, luved the games, and i'm loyal to sony, because i feel in the long run they wont let me down. And besides, all that they have to offer for only $600 ,(all those bastards whining and complainin, suck it up, if it had an apple logo on it noone wud make a peep) its well worth it.
X360: 2...then 5.5 after i saw gears of war
i dont really see the big deal about the x360, i still cant wait for Nov 17, And HOW DARE they release GoW the WEEK before the PS3. Ihope it sucks ( i know its not going to...but you know....i can dream) whatever for you 360. I Hope after GoW and your "precious" Halo3, you die.
Revolution = 3
Wii = 7 ^_^
WOW.....thats all i can say wow.....Nintendo really came back from the grave with this 1. You know u can expect good things, i mean the trailer for SSB :Brawl gave me goosebumps lol. The remote thing is groundbreaking. The only thing that irks me about this system is that if ALL the rumours are true...its going to launch before the ps3 which is slighlty annoying IMO
P.S
In my previous posts i have whined abut HDTV not being all that gr8, because i relly never experienced it.....
Then i took a trip to a haagen Daaz, and in the store were 2 B-E-A utiful samsung HDTVs......i mean that'd have to hav been the best time to rob me, because i was just staring at them....(near the point of drooling) the colours.......wow.....so yes HDTV kicks ass, and i now realize i will not be able to fully enjoy my ps3 untill i get 1..............sigh...... which looks like 2010.......donations welcomed ^_^

I would say
PS3-8: much more graphical power than xbox 360, it has an internal blueray drive, free online, bluetooth, the motion sensing controls. And just because the games look freaking spectacular *chills go down spine* oh yeah.
Xbox 360-6: the graphics look great (but not better than PS3). So far it has some very good games, but there arent any stand out titles that really defines the 360. So far there are 3 great games for the console, but since most are multi platform they arent killer apps. Though I cant wait to see games like Mass effect, too human, GoW, and Halo 3, wich may be the 360s strongest ponits.
Wii-5: its graphics pale in comparison to xbox 360 and PS3 (its still an improvement over the current gen). It may though bring innovation with the wii-mote and may revolutionize gaming, but even though theyre trying to appeal to a an older audience nintendo had yet to shed thier kiddy image which will hurt them the most. (I do think its a good idea to have a console more torwards kids..."ohh God someone think of the children")
Peace Out!

hard to really rate the systems when they are not out, but this is how i feel they all stack up. in my comparisons i'll only refer to the higher end models for the 360/ps3
PS3: by far the most anticipated and advanced system with promising potential. not to mention brand recognition alone will carry this system pretty far. seems to be a system for the older generation with yet again another stellar game library. the $599.99 pricetag is a BARGAIN for what is included. so all in all the ps3 will be a 10 in my book.
360: considering how the previous xbox faired in the last console race, it would seem that history is once again repeating itself. lackluster sales and interest in possibly the biggiest gaming base in the world ought to say something. now, closing in on almost 9 months to the day of its launch and still not a single blockbuster title to rave about. overall the graphics and system itself are nothing to complain about, and lets not forget about LIVE, but what did this do last time for them? in the end i'd say on a scale of 1-10, a 5
Wii: honestly haven't bought or found interest in any of nintendo's products since super nintendo was released. the ONLY thing that keeps me from completely writing them off is the simple fact that i can play the old favorites i loved growing up with and there are tons of them. i think a lot of people will again get intouch with their inner childhood on this one. the remote seems interesting yet redundant at the same time. nintendo has clearly marked their terrority and it is not geared towards the mature/older audience. just like when parents are having fun with their kids, for example when a kid is being pushed on a swing people usually say "WEEEE!!" as they go about. thats all this system is, getting in touch with one's younger half and having some fun. i could careless about graphics on this one, and if playing some of the oldies is as fun as it seems, in the end i'd give the Wii on a scale of 1-10, an 8

you know, i think i'm really starting to dislike g4 for anything at all except cinematech and brainiac. have you guys seen the ps3 vs wii spoof? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aJEcD4wKlc also, during some gphoria game awards thing, the guy representing shadow of the collossus's failure to get goty speech, a quote in it he said was "i'd like to thank the voters out there. especially the sony fanboy vote, sorry the ps3 is gunna suck." and they are so pro 360. there are so many little nitpicks at the ps3 alone all the time, i really think ms has a hand in this.
edit: the ps3 girl in the spoof i think is cuter, but she would have to drop the weight. she also looks like she would be the one to make it thru the world without problem. educated and smart, unlike the wii girl who is cute skinny and almost naked but soooo childish and stupid.

PS3:8
Doesn't seem to be doing as well as it was, but still absolutely brilliant. I hope MGS4 and the other games are wicked.
Xbox 360:4
Has got a few good games, but that's it. They are so desperate to do better than sony it's embarrassing.
Wii:8
I'm not sure about the controler, but I'm confident that Nintendo will shock us. In a good way.

atleas they designed it so you could tilt the controller on its side nd use it like a normal controller with few buttons. i like more buttons.

So How come microsoft is coming up with this stupid x360 camera, and i dont hear any complaining about copying, where are all the bastards that were bashing sony for 'copying' nintendo.
http://www.gizmodo.com/gadgets/gadgets/xbox-360-vision-camera-fac...
i mean really.
and a point rarely brought up IMO , it was sony who first put two joysticks on the conole controller
