Imo, I own a Xbox, a 360, a PS2, and I will buy a PS3. I do like my Xbox more than PS2, but I recently bought a 360 and I like it alot and I think it's a good console but, I think PS3 will be beter. The only company I don't like as much is Nintendo, and I used to like them better than the others, so for me it just depends on the console itself, not the company.

Yeah I mean I wasn't dissing the 360.Anubis has used the beta statment before.It's like this
when I go to the 360 forum I'm pro 360
when I come here I'm pro ps3
when I go to the wii forum I'm pro wii
I post on all these forums.I have tryed to help some folks with their 360's and had lot's of general talks over on the 360 forum but what you won't see is me going over there just to say ps3 is better or to site a fanboy convention.

Yea thats a good way to be, and in a way it's kind of how I try to be. I like all consoles, and for the most part I just don't like all the fights people have over different consoles, so therefore I try not to start any myself.

It isn't hard to (not) get banned.....whats peoples problem.
BTW, I'm pretty sure you can copy or stream music to your PS3 but, can you listen to it during gameplay?

Yeah you can stream it, as far as playing while your playing games I dunno but you may be able to hook up your mp3 player I heard.
Face123 trust me when I say He can't be good for long.It was to work up a post count and get a higher rank so he couldn't be banned as easily.He was still being an a$$ anyways.Want proof?

Lol, yea I read that thread about you trying to close your account. But I think it would be cool if you could stream stuff just like with 360 only without having to have Media Center to do it (that is kind of a hastle imo), I know you can do music and photos without Media Center but I'm talking about video.

Sony has said that you will be able to stream video and even use your ps3 like a tivo.I don't know they will still do that but I see no reason not too.

Thats awsome, I didn't know the thing about being able to use it like a Tivo. Ive seen websites with the specs of PS3 and games and different stuff like that but, is there a website I can go to that tells about some of the PS3's Media capabilities? It seems like Ive looked at Sony's site and I don't think I saw much about it but I was only on there for a couple of minutes so I may be wrong. But if you know of any sites that have some details on the PS3 let me know it would be much appriciated. I know it's going to be a beast going by the specs, I just wanted some more imfomation similar to the Tivo thing you mentioned.

Oh In case your wondering sony did say it would have these things about the tivo function but has been quiet about it for the last few months causing many including myself to wonder if it will have these features.
However recently there was a "leaked" publicity stunt by sony that gave us very valuable info.If I see anubis I'll ask for the link.

first you need to get your shit straight. xbox released on November 15, 2001 in North America. the ps2 released october 26, 2000. thats one year, not two. im speaking of NORTH AMERICAN considering that is where we are from, so dont try to argue japan's launch day....
the price of xbox at release was $299.99, and guess what the price of the ps2 was at release.....it was not till may of 2002 when the ps2 first saw a price cut along with that little thing called XBOX! so wtf are you talkin about it being at a higher price???
also considering the MAJORITY of gamers (ps/pc/nintendo/sega etc) generally go into game shops to buy their games, how the hell would people not know about xbox? please...even now theres STILL xbox neon signs outside gamestop along with other microsoft marketing stints. i wouldnt be surprised if microsoft even put xbox ads in with their other products back when...
sony has always had a loyal fanbase and the ps2 was an INFERIOR system in almost every aspect....so you must be right, graphics mean everything....

I don't want to argue or anything but, dude get your facts straight before going off and dissing somebody, the Xbox was $399.00 at release. And I'm pretty sure he ment that people were alot more familliar with the PS2 becuse of the PS1, and that Microsoft had never released a gaming console before. Oh yea I could say somthing about your last comment....."I give you an A for effort", I give you an A for something else but I don't feel like going there becuse I don't feel like getting banned.

Oh yeah, also this is a (Calm and Quiet, Peaceful Console Debate Thread) so I want to keep it that way, if you have an opinion it's all good but you don't have to be like that about it. BTW, I don't want to argue, I just wanted to state my opinion, so please don't argue with me, it won't get you very far because I'll just ignore it.
