Some people have lives to deal with every day,and jobs, and wives,and kids,and house repairs,and XBOX360's to play..Some of us can't devote all free time to posting.I post when I have Time,or someone posts and gets on my last nerve.... I hven't read lately is there any news on a Ps3 launch? Its been very quite but that might be a good thing.
Don't mind the spelling errors I don't have my glasses on and I not going upstairs to get them.

wow its been pretty lame in this chat lately.. so i know theres nothing new on the ps3, but i think someone needs to leak something. i dont think ive seen a console so well hidden since the dark days of the internet and before.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

nope. sony had still completely denied that it will be delayed. they have no reason to right now. but if the specs arnt finalized soon they may fall to a summer release if anything.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

i saw a pic of what looked liked ingame footage of deff jam 3 for the ps3, but thats it. lol. the wait for e3 is just too long.

honestly i dont give a f*ck about the graphics, the way that it looks now ps3 will have better graphics. But the bottom line is who comes out with the better games and sony has better exclusive titles and third party companies than microsoft does.
xbox 360 sold 600,000 which isnt what they were projecting, so that is dissapointing for them. And in this months gameinformer there is something about bill gates saying he was going to release halo 3 on the day ps3 came out. which i don't think would slow down ps3 at all. i think ps3 is gonna sell 1mil out the gate.
Oh yea and one more thing that sony has going for them. Sony has the superior upgrade rate, and im betting that that will carry over with the ps3 as well.. upgrade rate you ask? Thats people who had a psone and upgraded to a ps2 when it came out as apposed to people who had an xbox and upgraded to a 360.

joevela, you are dwelling by past generation.
personally i think that the 360 lineup far exceedes the PS3's future lineup. so that sole fact will make me pick the 360.
fact 2, no PS3 in europe till 2007, so 360 wins that one for me again, simply because its HERE NOW!!, PS3 isnt.
fact 3, the graphics are determined by the game, like unreal engine 3 games are pure eye candy compared to other games.
i think the PS3 will be brilliant, but at the min things are going really slow.

Don't judge the consoles by specs, more isnt always better, espec in PS3 specs.i know the truth, ask if u wanna know.......
Do not compete without valid correct technicality on your terms of the argument.

truthman, you obviously have no patients. people like you disgust me. the lineup for games on the 360 does nto count for the simple fact that its been release for some time. have you seen the list of ps3 games? there are alot of great titles coming to it to. plus most of the 360 games are either crap, have no replay value, or are just prettier versions copied from the xbox. talk about boring? i think it is you who is the fanboy around here. you've show it from day 1 and contiue to show it. you use the "omg its already here so its better" excuse. so you gunna tell me "oh the 7800gt is better that the 7900gt because it already here"? patients mean potential, and it also means time for upgrading. the older stats beat out the 360, and with the extra time im sure it will excell even a bit farther.

truthman was not talking about the xbox 360 release lineup he means the game that will release later this year. and personally i have to agree there as i have seen both line ups (on ign) of all the games that have been announced and when it comes to new and inovative games then xbox 360 has it, but if you want the same old games with just better graphics and the sequal number to increase then ps3 has that one.

yeah of course there are gunna be more games becasue its been out, but there al also gunna be lots of good games for the ps3 come 2nd gen games and so on. there will have their games in time, just like everything.

In game footage, no. Trailers yes. Although trailers i will admit dont always mean squat. That can be true, but microsoft never has, doesnt have now, and never will have more and better exclusive games than sony. Microsofts saving grace was halo n splinter cell.

I am not a microsoft hater, i dont own a apple comp i own a computer with a windows os on it. I own an xbox i even own a gamecube.. On the standpoint of ps3 vs 360 ps3 will win, hands down.. Numbers show that ps2 owners are waiting for the ps3 to come out rather than to buy the 360 which u said was here now lol.

their launch list hasnt been finalized yet lol, and umm new and innovative games like what? those new innovative games havent been selling, madden and call of duty 2 where 360's best sellers last time i checked.. how new are those games? lol u make me laugh

LOL! Fact is 360 isn't even doing well against the ps2. How the f*ck are they going to put ps3 out of business when ps2 is still selling more games per console. What i mean per console. Say 600k 360 owners bought 120k games. That is 2 games per console. and say ps2 has 2mil owners and sells 5 mil games. that would be 2.5 games per console(this is just an example i am lookin for the study that had the actual numbers) But ps2s was higher. get it? good cause you cant compare who has sold more games cause there are more ps2 owners but u can could the rate, and the fact is ps2 is still selling more per console, and of course overall.
Here is a thought guys. Maybe xbox 1080 will do well against ps3... maybe

ok look, the ps3 will be good, it will have lots of good exclusive titles just like it always has with past consoles, but the xbox 360 from what i can see is on par with games that are coming out and very good graphics when you talk about games like war devil, gears of war, too human, mass effect, lost plannet and rainbow six vegas(i could go on for another 10 lines with exclusives that look and sound awesome for the xbox 360).
ok a lot of people are saying that at the momment the ps2 has better looking games then the xbox, but how can that be, b/c the xbox is a better machine, its all about the ps2 releasing a year or two before and that has given more time for developers to unlock its true power.
also why are they saying that statisticaly the xbox 360 has had the best selling launch out of any of the consoles ever.
and when i said new and inovative games i did not mean games that are already out, i meant games that will be coming out soon.

the only reason the xbox 360 hasnt sold that much is soley due to the lack of machines that were available. fair enough this isnt the case in japan but elsewhere in the world pre orders are nly just being finished. the ps3 line up, not bad, same old same old though. MGS4, yes 4. im looking forward to it but the series has gradualy been worst and worst since the MGS on ps1. Yet another Devil May Cry, yawn. Obviously ANOTHER gran turismo. The last few have been pants. XBox 360, original titles, gears of war, although not orignal oblivion looks awesome, too human, mass effect, lost planet. the PS3 from the line ups i have seen is extreme japanese orientated, another reson to go 360. Oh yeah, you seriously belive that ps3 will have better graphics, if the ps3 is that advanced in the graphics department, why is it that the xbxo 360 has unified shading pipeline arhitecture, 48 of them to be exact. the ps3 has less pipelines and are non-unified. unified shders will appear in most next gen pc graphics acrds because they are future technology. ps3 is based on old tech. xbox360 has 4x anti aliasing bulit in so it doesnt have to be programed and have the cpu do th anti aliasing, the gpu already does it without dropping its performance. ps3 again doesnt have this technology. maybe it does have blu ray, but if HD-DVD sells more then blu ray is gonna be pants for movies. and why would someone working for sony say that the 360 can just do more, say that. get real sony has said that the machine is better than what it is, and when it is released people are gona be dissapointed becasue 360 will have better looking games already out. remember the fight night trailer at e3 05. well 360 is already doing that in playable form and it even looks better than what they showed at e3

and your referance to the graphics cards was totally invalid, i wasnt on about that or anything, nothing to do with the power.
assumptions again!(-they are a big problem).
and im not a fanboy, im saying what i think is better at the minute and i have given my reasons, isnt opinion a legit thing around ehre anymore.
everybody here is entiteled to an opinion, but only a few people here respect that.
opinion counts MOSTLY towards the games. KNOW THAT then know that people like different things, like i simpy dont like the type of games that are coming out for the PS3, that doesnt mean the PS3 sux does it.

This is one of ficking stupid threads that anubis66 has made. I tell you guys now. There is NO PS3 at all in the next 3 years. So why you guys keep comparing Xbox360 vs PS3. Why don't you guys compare Xbox360 vs PC.
Yeah, if you do compare Xbox360 vs PC, I will take PC over Xbox360 at any time. Ficking 360 is too expensive like PC and has too much problems. PC does all kind of shits that 360 wont. Even playing games on PC is still better than 360.
PS: However if talking about system link, virgin xbox is the best.

oooh lots of things to say here, where do i start.
ok well i just read this about the ps3 releasing this x mas.

also, it is true that the pc is way better than the xbox 360 in most things, but asking us to compare them is just stupid, they are completely different, and also even if you think you might know what xbox 360 has to offer (as it has already launched) think again as they are bring lots of new things to it. like the ability to stream movies and tv programsn straight into your xbox 360. there is also this new thing, which is basically lots of different tournament for differentgames on the xbox 360, that will take place frequently and everyone else who is not taking part in it can watch them, which i think is cool, say like sometimes i get bored of playing or i am eating then i can just go on and watch opthers. maybe even pick up some tips. now these things might not be your cup of tea, but its good to know that the xbox 360 is evolving even after its released and also that its not just a gaming machine anymore.

i will buy ps3 mostly beacuase i currently own game cube ,xbox and ps2 ,and the one system that has the best games for my taste is ps2 ,i cant afford all 3 consoles this next gen. actually its not that i cant buy them ,its that i dont have the time ,like i had a few years ago,to play all games that came out on all 3 system.
so far i can only stick with one system and one hand held and my pc thats all i need persoanlly so this is my future ,pc,ps3,psp.
i may rent a revo to play a new zelda or a xbox 360 to see hows the new halo going to be like .
the allmighty mudearies...

I am also tired of all the comparisons.These two systems are not the same and never will be. Each system will have it's own following,each system will have its haters and each system will have it's fanboy. Who cares? I don't... 2 each their own , everybody has different taste and likes and thats what makes us human and not lemens. If you don't like something don't buy it or play it, thats all it's real easy to do. Until the Ps3 comes out I will be playing my 360,just got GhostRecon AW Today A++++ game .

rabbity, he gave no specific word about its release date. if u look at more sites, it shows that all he said was "we have have it out in time for the holidays" stating that no matter what it would not go into 07. i never gave a date nor said "yes it will come out this holiday season" i love how people misinterpriet. and truthman, i know you like the games on it more, im just saying the ps3 does have some great games for it, that maybe you dont have the taste for like kz and mgs4. quite a few of the things i said on the 1st page have become true or are looking to be soon.

firstly damm you uhall, for getting ghost recon before me, it releases here in the uk on the 17 of march. anyways how is it, should i buy the game.
ok anubis you are right, the CEO does not say anything about x mas, but think about it, do you really think it will be here in time for summer (May, or June as you said, he said in time for the holidays) i doubt that, so the next best thing is x mas, i would have thought. do you not think that it would be a little stupid launching the same time students go back to school or college.

no but the conpany that makes the circut borads had just said sony gave them to go from production in june, and nvidia said the same about the rsx, the bluray group plans to be out in april or may, and the cell is already being made. with this in mind, im guessing a september/october release.
