So, Tokijin, according to what you were saying, GregI just posts garbage to get people's attention. Did I get that right?

Yes. Though annoying, there's people around AD far worse than GregI. Anyway like Creaky said, let's get back on topic.

I have 3 questions:
1) How are discs made with a press burner?
2) Is LightScribe media any good for backups?
3) This is a long one. Which of these external DVD writers support DVD+R bitsetting to DVD-ROM?
-LG 16X LightScribe (GSA-2166D)
-Lite-on 16X with EZ-DUB (SOHW-1673SU)
-Comstar 16X Dual Layer external DVD writer
-Sony 16X Dual Layer (DRX810UL)
-Sony 16X Dual Layer DVD optical drive (DRDX820U)

1. No idea. Roughly discs are pressed by a giant burner, no idea of specifics.
2. There is Verbatim LightScribe media, no idea if it's good. Most serious burn enthusiasts I know stay far away from LS technology, if that tells you anything.
3. I'm not sure if those drives support booktyping bitsetting. There's almost no advantage to getting an external optical drive, aside from portability. You can pick up a quality internal burner for half the price. Installing a DVD Burner is a snap. Having never done it before, I installed mine in about an hour. If you know what you're doing, shouldn't take more than 20 minutes. If you must have an external drive, check out http://www.cdrinfo.com http://www.cdfreaks.com http://www.cdrlabs.com for info.

I'm just feeding you the same medicine you seem to show everyone else, the way you speak to people I'd put £100 on saying that you don't have any mates on the outside and your only pathetic reason for life is playing the PS2 all day, winding up and insulting people on forums such as this, and maybe midnight trawls on pornsites when your Mum and Dad aren't looking but hey don't worry we all know its not really your fault and its your social up bringing thats laid to blaim in influencing your lil' mind into replying halfwitted responses such as
Quote: im much more intelligent than u and could cream u at any game.
Hmmm! Sounds to me like you could be starting puberty at any moment!!
