KC I believe he was talking to me. Read my FAQ, the answer is there. For future reference, read the stickies at the top of the forums, they contain all the info you'll need for successful backups.
@Reznor Glad you got it sorted.

No, you don't need one. What do you think? That's the dumbest question I have ever seen someone ask in this forum.
I have a question of my own. What are the odds that "Made in Japan" 8X Fujifilm DVD-Rs are made by Taiyo Yuden?

I don't specifically know the odds. I know you can get TY's under the Fuji label, but have never done so personally. I don't know any identifying marks. If you want to experiment, get them from a place that will definitely let you return them, and see if the MIJ Fuji's code out as TY's.

I think it's a straight enough answer seeing as all through this thread it's stated that to back up a game of more than 700MB you will need to burn it onto a dvd.. I haven't found any other way of burning dvd's except with a dvd burner so I would assume that it's essential..unless you know of another way?????

Right, and I'd better not hear what you said coming out of your mouth again. You're playing double with fire, and I don't tollerate ANYONE swearing at me or being rude with me. And that question was so obvious, how can you even ask it? Remember this too(man, I should stop acting like a moderator), no swearing allowed. Why don't people ever read the rules?

Too be honest, conversations like this are why I don't post here much anymore. People simply don't treat each other with respect, AD hasn't changed at all.

I AGREE 100%.No respect at all. And what the heck are ya gonna do to him? Threat him over the internet. I swear, you kids have got some brass ones. I bet if you ever acted like that in RL to someone, you'd get your butt handed to ya. Playing with fire? LOL. But I agree with this too, that was a moronic question. Along the lines of "Am I a virgin if I have sex?"

Playing with fire... Offensive posts can be reported and the ban button has seen a lot of use in the last few days.. I just can't be bothered reporting idiots. They mess up quick enough anyway. Just treat rude people with the contempt they deserve...lifes too short to get annoyed about nothing.. lol

PS2Menace-Is that directed to me or to Pes4rules? Just to know, I get confused when I don't see any names.
ddp-What exactly is "Lightning struck" supposed to mean? (Possibly) Permanent suspension by the looks of what you wrote? I don't mean to be rude or offensive or anything, but let me just say this: ALL people who are rude on this forum should be permanently suspended, period, no chances(at least that's what I would do if I were a moderator, then people would either fear me or hate me...;)).
/\ /\Never mind the question, ddp, it's been answered.

I already know it's 5 lines maximum, and when I saw my sig got WAY too long, I knew I had to change it, but I just can't find a good layout to alter my sig. I have an idea right now, and I'll try it out.

Alright, I tried a new layout. Does it conform with the rules now?(it should as I counted 5 lines) But, I'd say it's more confusing(especially for my guides).

The same way I got my knowledge all my life. Now, let's get back to media talk, shall we? I think this went on a little too long.
NinReznor, use Taiyo Yuden(you can find Taiyo Yuden dye with Maxell CD-R Pro. Haven't tried it, but it should work), Verbatim, or Sony. Those are the best for CDs.
Oh, I forgot to ask this. Tokijin, you were talking about laser cleaning before, and I'd like to know which is better for my Version 14's laser:
-Hydrogen peroxide
-Isopropyl rubbing alcohol
-Rubbing alcohol compound(what's the difference in between this and isopropyl rubbing alcohol?)
And, I should clean my laser every what?
