i wrote like 5 f****** paragraphs on my feelings on th esituation of the ps3 and the 360, and my likes and dislikes of where they are and where they are going and my sh!tty internet disconected like it loves to as i submit it. to top that off, in ie7 when you click back it doesnt have your text saved.. **** charter and ms for wasting 15 minutes of my life.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

Same stuff happen to me but I'm on my side kick and couldn't reply.

You can always invest in the hddvd for 360 for another $200 when it comes out, personally I think that where M$ messed up selling the console cheaper instead of selling it with the hddvd player which would have givin hd dvd a a huge lead, but what can M$ do now. I will own a 360 soon also so not to bash on 360. As for the motion controller I don't think sony has to worry to much about it, Nintendo should be the one worried about that because most of their games have that, as for sony if it doesn't work out there's alway the thought of having rumble again on TRUE 1080p HD Games.

sometimes, especially when i type fairly long posts i use word to type in and then just copy and paste. i have numerous times going back and forth between tabs and windows accidently closed the wrong one and lost things. extremely annoying but not really anymore

yeah i usually copy here and there but i didnt expect to type so much and i figured the one time i didnt wouldnt matter.. i'll probably try again in another month or two when i know much more about both.

theres also a link there talking about some xbox that was stolen, and these guy killed 5 people over it. they were all executed. is it really worth it? im kinda scared with my ps3.. :(

I can see where the suggestion of not including the HD-DVD player in the xbox may seem a mistake, however inorder to give a competitive price and to have been launched a year before PS3 the exclusion of the HD-DVD player had to be made. A good decision? Only time will tell.
At this moment in time the xbox 360 has a killer ap title by the name of, 'Gears of War' with another soon to come in the form of Halo 3. Also looking at a game made by Bioware (a very well respected games developer) they are creating Mass Effect and if my feelings are right about this title as they were with Gears of War, then the xbox 360 will have 3 killer ap titles which will definatly give Sony a run for their money.

COD3 is amazing on the 360! Online and off. I'm sure it'll be just as good on the PS3, wait till you play it, and you'll see what I mean ;)

hey guys.
i just got cod 3, looks amazing.
it should keep me happy until next week when gears of war and rainbow six veygas release in the uk.
PS3 specs may look better than xbox 360 but i am yet to see a game on the PS3 that looks better than any of the top end xbox 360 games such as gears of war, mass effect and halo 3.

what you just said reminds me of how much ms is in this for the money. they stick their hands in everything for more cash, and they are minimalist and cheap wth their products. look at the 360 launch, look at windows. plus they are like all other companies in american buisness/political ethics and they love to mudsling. they tare at the ps3 for its new online system, but they didnt even have much of one at launch did they? i dont think live was around for a little bit. they realease crap and throw on new things when they are cheaper to meet what people wanted in the first place. it costs consumers more in the end to do anything ms related than any counterparts.
and ive been reading in review people bashing the ps3 for having less game than the 360. are they f****** blind? can they not see the console is on its release? so what if the 360 has more current gen games, 80% of them blow, and in 2 or 3 years all ms can have is 3 killer aps? wow. the ps3 game line-up for launch gets worse every day though. i wanted oblivion at launch maybe, ut2007 was delayed some time ago, half-life two 'special pack' was delayed from spring to summer, sonic was nixed from launch too.. they cryogenically freeze the games i want to be put out at a later date, but i guess all the better if they are working on making it more in line with the ps3's online downloadable content and custom content. maybe its sony making them delay and forcing them into implementing to make sure its philosophy doesnt get lost or ditured.

Wow, its good to see your still a PS3 fanboy, it gives good cause to argue.
I have been over this before back in the past but just to tell you once more. Microsoft is a big company out to make money. Sony is a big company out to make money. Please stop pretending Sony are some kind of angle not there to make money becasue thats a big load of ball.
80% of xbox 360 games are rubbish. This is interesting. I like these comments, they prove even more how much of a fanboy you are. So 80% are rubbish? anubis iam interested in you telling me how you know this? is it from a statistical site? oh no wait, the best you normaly come out with is from one of your friends. You know Gears of War is over hyped although you havent completed it and its only been out a few days, interesting. (you cant say its down to oppinion either when you havent even completed it)
Back to PS3. You cant really slag off the PS3 for its launch games because its the launch. Xbox 360 wasnt good with its launch games either. You had about 3 or 4 with Ghost Reacon, Oblivion, Condemed and PGR3, Kameo wasnt too bad either. The PS3 has Resistance, Ridge Racer and more is yet to be confirmed.
Overall the PS3 is a nice machine but for me the xbox 360 is better in terms of games. I look at the hitts to be on the PS3 and I see Resistance vs Gears of War, Metal Gear vs Halo, Final Fantasy vs Mass Effect and I choose the 360 titles over the PS3 ones, but this is down to opinion. (please dont quote me on this, I said its down to opinion)

my point im making here is ms is using their money to just keep adding and adding to what is asked or desired or should have already been there. sony sees what fight they are bringing and they know for such a price they better have quality or they will surely not succeed so well. they have to try hard to compete with ms alot more this time around.
in the 80% thing, complete opinion. i figured you would see that but its lovely how blind you are. im not saying much for the ps3 game or what percents because not enought are out there, hell only a few are really known about past the launch titles.
you comparisons are not all just. can you really compare an rpg to an fps? not really. you cant verse a few games against eachother, you throw them all into two groups and decide from there. but it is all opinion in this depot.
excluding games from the two regardless of who has better, the ps3 offers lot more in my interests such as hdmi for my $700 dollar HDTV, a nice easy to use browser, a complete independant os yet to really be shown (i hope yellow dog 5 is as well as 4.), the ever-so-intuitive xmb making everything plain and simple to find, and the sixaxis.

Sorry, mistake with Oblivion, i like how people pick up on all the small little things. I am from Australia so its a launch title here i forgot it wasnt one in America so to some extent iam right because in Australia it was.
This is boring. Ok iam not comparing game styles, iam comparing the quality of good games against good games. Metal Gear is one of the PS3 flag ship titles just the same as Halo is, hense what I was trying to to say.

People wonder why graphics look the same for xbox and ps3 and the answer is simple,"resolution" is the same as it is for xbox once sony has all games as stardard resolution 1080p you will now know the difference. Why? You ask I say this well for one I just saw the resolution on the games that are for ps3 launch and most of them will be 720p, there are only about 2 or three that have 1080p, this info was provided by OPM. For all that say xbox will upconvert to 1080p, well there is one word the will be different from both consoles and that's UPCONVERT you will not have a full 1080p signal no matter what you say.

now you see, in my eye, resistance has it over gears because of taste. i like ww2 era shooters, and i've read some of harry turtledoves alternate history books and they were interesting, pativularly the one where the romans had gunpowder and when the germans won ww2. those would make great games. but this is just me and my thoughts, other people like other ways of gameplay.

anubis if gears of war was on ps3 would it be good? and if resistance was on xbox 360 would it be bad? personally i like games if there on 360 or ps3 and not just because its its on my favorite games console! so if you see a good game like gears of war on 360 and a bad game on ps3 face it that games better. and don't say i don't like gears of war because i like ww2 games.

well heres my share of opinion...
havent played either of them but i read reviews on ign and GOW got 9.4 while Resistance got 9.1. Seems like both games are good to me.
But you cant compare a PS3 luanch title to a game thats been out a year into 360's life. Take a fps launch for 360 and comapare to Ps3 launch fps.
Also, look at all the hype of GOW way back since the summer when it was introduced on MTV and such. Resistance has marely a few second commercials has has no publicity. Im sure GOW is more popular.
Both games have great gamepley but ign rated GOW to have better graphics. But then again wait a year into Ps3's life and im sure a better lokking game will be out. No 360 launch titles looked as good as Resistance and thats a fact.
PS3...it only does everything(that Sony allows it to)

anubis is saying that he likes ww2 games yes i can understand because we all like diffrent games. but Resistance is not ww2 it is sci fi and so is GOW so why dose anubis like resistance?

the timeframe for Resistance is set around that period(WWII). it is a bit of a different approach than say medal of honor or COD, so maybe he just like the mere thought of an alternative story for that period.

GOW is a thrid person shooter over the shoulder, and of course resistance is a fps, in my opinion is that GOW would have been better as a fps than third person shooter, that's why I think in my book is resistance takes the cake.

i never knew gears was a third person. i dont like those so much. they can be ok in the case of the old conflict desert storm (i think is lost my copy..). hade is right, i like the alternate history of that same era. the weaponry and styles are from the same time but in a different position and a little different.

Just because a game is 3rd or 1st person shooter dosenot make the game any diffrent, say ghostrecon AWF on 360 and the same game on PC there the same game but the PC version is 1st person and 360 version is 3rd person. and so what if Resistance is set in the WW2 period its still a sci fi because it's not actualy ww2 is it!
