I'm not saying resistence is better at all. All I'm saying is that FOR ME aleast lost some what interest in his game because it is a third person shooter, dont get me wrong it's probably a great game, but again AS FOR ME (my opinion), think I would have loved it to be fps.

no its not, but does that matter? many things have many genres. jesus just drop this, i said i like the era and seeing it differently is better than repeating the same things over an over and over and over and over and over (i.e. c.o.d. anything). its opinion remember? also, i dont like tom clancy games past maybe rainbow 6.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

This is pretty cool. But you know the usual comback will be that a gaming console should just be strictly for gaming and nothing else. In my opinion the more features the better.
PS3...it only does everything(that Sony allows it to)

ps3 sold 88k units in japan...
Quote: According to videogame magazine publisher Enterbrain, Sony sold 88,400 PlayStation 3 units over the course of the weekend in Japan.
The consoles went on sale at 7 a.m. on Saturday in Japan and are virtually sold out amongst local retailers.
Previous reports have indicated that Japan would receive 100,000 units at launch, although one Japanese news agency indicated that only 80,000 would be available on day one. The actual number appears to be somewhere between the two figures.
A Reuters report cited an Enterbrain official who said the launch is a ?promising start? for the PS3. Large lines of PS3 hopefuls formed in Tokyo Friday night to get their hands on the limited-supply system.
Enterbrain also said that Namco Bandai is so far the big launch winner as far as publishers are concerned. Two of the company?s titles, Ridge Racer 7 and Mobile Suit Gundam: Target in Sight, were the top two PS3 titles, selling around 30,000 copies each.
The PS3 will be launching in North America on November 17 with an estimated 400,000 units.

i so p!ssed at everyone thinking it was only part of the shipmant. jesus what is wrong with you all? sony completely confirmed there was not 100,000 units, but accually much closer to 80,000. alot of news places are reporting this completely wrong because they dont stay on top of things.
edit: i heard somewhere the wii sucks down battery power like a hooker sucks..well you know.

from what i was reading online there was not a lot of people that decided to wait outside for a ps3 because of the low amount of units available, AND several stores implementing a lottery system. with a lottery system, whats the point at showing up at 5am when you have the same chance of getting a system as someone who showed up at 8am?
edit...man playstation.com just got an overhall...check it out. the ps3 section definately has the black and red theme going...
edit again...here is the link. they have updated the ps3 section, including a "using" tab now. browse for yourselves

interesting vid up there...
the verdict is out, the HD-DVD drive for the 360 has been reviewed. at $199.99 it is hard to argue that it is not a bargain, but personally i don't care for the look. i'll be more than happy with the all-in-one ps3.

It depends on wether the pointer feature is being used or not, but battery life for two AA's is somewhere between 30 - 60 hours.
Actually quite the accomplishment for a controller with that many features.
Although I would refrain from calling anything power hungry if I were you, anubis.

aa's add up so fast. i hated my gameboy for it but it wasnt as bad. you'll see a huge pile of aa's and wonder how much you spend. with how little the wii could keep me entertained for periods off time i guess it woult not be bad.

Nope, will controllers are not rechargable. you could buy rechargable batteries though, and that would definitely save your ass.
Yo!

yeah but one of those chargers is like 50 bucks for 2-4 slots, and good rechargable aa's are expensive. i guess it would save you in the end but its not cool.

I use rechargeable batteries on im my 360 controllers. I paid £7 for the charger and batteries, and they've been doing great all year, not a problem.

I was too when I learned there was no rechargeable pack. Not even as an accessory for crying out loud.
