you just have to do a few races to figure out how the drifting in motion works. after 3 retries at a race im getting all 1st's now.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

did you turn on motion sensing by pressing start?
its funny how the wii kiosks dont have controllers. how can anyone try it out? the fear of not knowing how it will feel will push so many customers away.
and i accually enjoy rr7 bmore w/o tilt, too much precision is required and it would take long to learn. plus i already dominate with the d-pad so why lose that?

when you press start in-game, there is an option called "motion sensor adjust" that says off, turn it on.

Anubis you take this stuff way too seriously. Sorry dude, but you're calling people nubs, ranting about why Sony didn't push six axis. Who cares? Sony sold enough in my opinion.

they sold what anyone could sell at launch. they dont have much of a set-in-store later apdapter base because of the price and what little they show of its abilities. they should show how you neer have to leave your living room. im definatly making use of the memory card slots to transfer music. i have a 1gb m.s.p. from a camera for big thigns when needed and a spare 32mb one for ps3 to ps3 data transporting or little files transfers.
if you copy music that issnt presorted it can sort for you. if you do it that way, i've noticed a magicall little musical cartographer that utilizes the rsx so that it creates a linear map formed from the song played (a visualizer of sorts). it is awesome.
i heard psp has ps1 games for it now, and soon the ps3 will too. i absolutely loved jumping flash. that is a must have.

It's funny - the PS3 is Japanese and the 360 is American, but the PS3 is like an American muscle car and the 360 is like a Japanese Tuned car.
The PS3 is a beast of a machine stating that 'size matters', but the 360 is a finely tuned machine.

i would expect ps3 to have "faulty errors" and not the wii
thats what people get for buying at launch

That's not the only thing that wii are have trouble with, stupid people would don't know to read intructions or know why the wii remote has a wrist band have had broken tvs or wiimotes from playing. I read the article in gamespot.com and would not be surprised if nintendo has a lawsuit in their hands anytime soon for not having warning labels. I also read about some kid braking his arm using a wiimote ran in to a wall and broke his arm so now parents had to return the system. My opinion is that I don't think that's true cuz there was no solid source or link to the story.

Their instruction manual has like... 17 pages of warnings.
But I have seen screenshots of the broken strap and they do look pretty flimsy. While I don't see any self-respecting gamer losing control of the controller, kids seem to be prone to that happening, and since Nintendo has the family-friendly audience, they should've manufactured a better strap.
The most common Nintendo error is 110213, which appears to be the fault of Nintendo's firmware upgrade, and not the hardware itself. DNS propagation issues are also the big problem, with a handful of those problems actually caused by outdated routers. Still, the fact that we all have heard about this problem and that Nintendo considers the error "fatal" is proof enough that the launch is somewhat plagued. It's too bad too, because not only did the actual launch go so well, but Nintendo's track record for widespread faulty systems remained virtually unscathed since the japanese famicom launch fiasco.
The good news is that no matter how many times you launch your wiimote accidentally into the wall, it won't break. And those smashmywii.com guys had a suprisingly difficult time smashing the wii with a sledgehammer. The gamecube port flap will break if you throw the wii on the ground, but the rest needs a few sledgehammer strokes.

Again I metioned STUPID ppl or even kids in my comment not self-respected gamers they have the logic to read the intructions manual and know that you could brake something if it's not properly used. I don't want to bash nintendo because do want one for my kids but he wants a 360. Another thing any self-respected gamer(s) know that the Wii is at the bottom considering consoles and the reason it would be a top choice for gamers is because of the price, but as I always say you get for what you pay for. Just my opinion

I agree with most of it, although there's one huge difference wit PS3/360, one requires a HUGE power brick.
@the smashmywii comment, it also took them about 15 hits to do damage to the PS3. PS2 may not have been built like a tank, but PS3 was.

Agreed. I hope no one buys the Wii expecting a bargain Blu-ray player...
