will there ever be a new brand of game console? i mean we have playstation, xbox and nintedo's whatever there called, so will there be a new console soon?

i'll miss the dayds where we were all "omg omg you connect your pokemon game from ur gameboy to ur n64 in PkMn Stadium?". everything except playstation was all about nintendo. what happened? i think the n64 is what lead to the decline of nintendo, having cartridgages.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

just for the record pokemon Stadium was a really fun game.
in the year 2000 kidtendo started to go down ,if it wasnt for his hand helds products which at the time had ''ZERO COMPETITION''it would have been gone by now.

this will happend...
We will never know until it happens. I think they will do better with the Wii.

Phantom console by Infinium Labs, that was its name. i heard they were making a new console but i didnt mnow what it was called is there any websites on this? i would like to investergate this... maby they seen how good the xbox 360 and ps3 are so the scrapped the idea and are making a better console

i got a phantom beta unit about 2 years ago, but its worthless now
infinium labs sent me an invoice stating that at first their were going to be bug fixes, the service was offline for about a month before they sent the next invoice stating that i had to return the console, i didn't
3 days later i got my ps2 fixed and have been playing xbox and ps2 ever since, the phantom won't work. It only restarts at the profile selection screen when tring to log into the network. I'm gonna keep it and the sell it in about 6 or 7 years.
many people didn't return their units from what i heard
currently have these consoles

Xbox
Ps2
Dreamcast
Phantom
Gba
psp

id hate to have one of them handheld things you showed us anubis66. thi phantom thing i tried signing up to the newsletter but it just goes to a 'his website dosent exist' page... maby we should try contacting them maby they hae gone out of bsiness they wouldnt just let you keep their phantom beta kits that cost them money.
KainX, when you turn it on it just restarts.you cnat pla any games or anythink that kinda sucks who would want a game console that has to be constanlly connected to the internet, that would suck.

maby not after the wii but eventally
also they will def not go out of business
they will become a software and development company
they have to many good games just to close
eg MARIO(wario luigi etc) metroid prime the list goes on

yeah cheap rubbish consoles that still arnt worthet. do you know how muh money or profit ms make on 1 xbox 360?
about £120 (gosh!)
you would think it would be a small profit because thousands of people would buy it ect.
anyway after a few years they put the profit down e.g how much did an xbox cost when it 1st came out?? << acuall i want to know
and how much is it now? the profit ms are making on xbox 1 now is nothink because no one would buy an xbox if it was the same pprice as the xbox 360. except for me because im mad!

the ps3 will win this gen beacuase it will have the best games. and the xbox 360 is doing very very bad in japan ,its been outsold by 3 hand helds my god how embarrasing.

What you said may be true but even you know that the reason the xbox 360 isnt selling well in japan isnt because its a bad system its becuase they are hella loyal over there.From all the polls i saw ps3 isnt looking to good over there its the wii thats coming out on top with 83% of people saying the ps3 is FAR too expensive and 75% of the people stating they will get the wii and not the ps3 so that could take some wind of out sony's sails.Although in all those polls ive read MS is catching only 7% of any vote that does any good for them which isnt a good sign clearly.To this point sony was making a killing off their fans in japan with that now being cut more than in half by polls/surveys that could serve good for ms seeing as they are still in their same crappy situation over there.

whoa wut a long thread. X-box 360 has glitches and was released earlier so ofcourse ps3 is better. sony would have bought the 360 and looked at its features there fore making the ps3 much better. Although the ps3 is much more xpensive
