agreed. wild speculation shouldn't be stated as fact, afterdawz. You don't know wether the ps3 or Blu-ray will fail or succeed, so give it a rest.

xbox live is great that's why it is unified u don't need to pay EA or ubisoft, people should thank sony for 3d graphix they created it.

I just saw a TV commercials of a movie thats coming out on DVD and "soon on Blue-ray" I forgot wich movie. By the way i live in Canada. I think this will happen more and more.
Remember a cuple of years ago when all the movies were VHS and then they started to come out for both VHS & DVD now thats happaning but with DVD & Blue-ray.

I think DVD will be around for a LONG time yet, iit won't die off cos most people don't want/can't afford blu-ray/hd-dvd.

wo cares about the mod chip? i knew nobody who onwed one, not one soul. i knew a kid thru a kid but thats it, never met the guy. the modding scene is so small it doesnt matter. its like 0.5% of the market. and arnt 360 games 60 too? last i chacked they were.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

LOL I wasn't getting a dig in saying I had a life aswell, I'd like to think a lot of people on here do - it's just a reason why i'm not on XBL 24/7.
...And the modding scene does suck, and so do people that use glitches. However, there is no better feeling catching out someone that uses glitches and drilling a .50 round into there forehead >:)

i used to use glitches with the translocator in ut2003 sooo much. i'd go under the sand in the
super shield sand dune in br-anubis and instagib people thru the ground all the while getting
ludacrous kills and being "godlike". id also do it in every level i could, and there was also a
code u type in for being completely invisable, gun and body and also shadow.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

or back in the day when i was 32 in the world at quake4 i was helping my friend glitch cause i wanted to see what it looked like and at the end he did the wrong thing and went back -1000 pts.

I could be wrong but I thought that the arcade virtual fighter was one of the first full 3d game. Sega made it.
PS3...it only does everything(that Sony allows it to)

to say it copied would be saying when i open up my ps3 on launch day for online gaming, it will say "Xbox Live" and would be all green and such. they made a completely from the bottom up online service taking some of the better aspects of other online services aswell as incorperating some of their own.
and i heard somewhere the long lines of the wii were not due to popularity, but more-so slow lines and people just wondering what the wii could really offer.

Where does it say it copied MS's online service? That is a way irrational statement to get from that story. They are saying that xbox live is the first internet service that actually took off and got alot of console gamers online. They are thanking them for getting them all into online gaming. Not thanking them for letting them copy the service itself.

does it realy matter whether sony copied microsft. I mean , everyone will be arguing next that konami copied nintendo cos mario has two legs an so does snake.lol. point is, ps3 is going to be online much the same as 360 an its gonna be good cos it mite mean that us 360 owners can kick anubis's ass for his pro ps3 an biased opinion on favor of the ps3. no offence intended anubis, but u know I'm right. also there were 3d games before the mega drive an that. can't remember the names tho

yeah. it would be a little conceded and naive to actually believe the playstation somehow invented 3d games.
