You need to be a little more clearer when explaining this. I'm finding it difficult to understand your problem. Did you switch DVD Decrypter to MODE-->ISO-->WRITE when trying to burn the disc? You definitely need to get some better DVD-R's. Memorex are shite. Get some Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim's. I've been told you can 50 packs Verb's at Sam's Club for $15.

Q. How do I burn PS2 games?
A. Use DVD Decrypter.
Guide: http://www.angelfire.com/games6/easytutorial/dvddec/dvddec.html Burn at 4x on an 8x DVD-R.

2. Q. Does the type of media I use matter?
A. YES: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/1/240341
If you're too lazy to read, use Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Ritek, Sony, TDK, Maxell, Sony or Phillips DVD-R's. Avoid Memorex, Staples, Imation, Dynex, Princo, Bulqpaq, etc.
CMC Magnetics is garbage. Need proof (Thanks to Alkohol):
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/1/262544
If you really want to do the PS2 backup thing right, pick up some Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim's. I only burn to TYG02, the 8x Taiyo Yuden DVD-R's. So far I've never had a lag, skip, freeze, or boot failure since I switched to Taiyo Yuden's. With results like that, why would I use anything else?

Yes, I ripped it then went to Mode>ISO>Write. I went in and selected I file to write from and loaded it. I then put in the blank disk. It usally loads then you can click on the disc to start burning. When I put it in and wait for it, it never loads it just says at the bottom medium not present just like when you don't have anything in the drive at all. So should it be the disk or not?

maybe DVD Decrypter doesnt like your dvd burner, it is a burner right? not just a dvd rom

Put in your blank disc, before loading the mds file. After you insert your blank disc and DVD Decrypter has detected it, then load the mds file and hit Decrypt.

I tried putting it in first then loading it, but when i put it in and wait for it to load it says no medium present still. P.S. I was looking at those Taiyo Yuden DVD-R's and found a pack of 100 for 50$ and was wondering what the standard price was.

$50 for the 100 pack of Taiyo Yuden's is a ripoff. There are a ton of fake TY's out there, so order off http://www.supermediastore.com They're legit and one of the top sellers of media on the net. I and several people on this site have ordered Taiyo Yuden's and Verbatim's off their site. Make sure your burner is in DMA mode.

No you need an original version. A burned copy can only be booted with an original copy or a modchip. There are several sites you can order it from. http://www.gocybershop.ca is a good site to order it from. It'll set you back $20-$30.

7. Q. What do I need to use Swap Magic?
A. With fat PS2 v.1-11: Flip top: http://www.chipzone.com/installation/playstation2/fliptop/page1.cfm
Slide Card: http://www.saveware.com/SlideCardUsageAndInstall.htm
With Slim PS2 v.12-14
Flip top: http://www.chipzone.com/installation/playstation2/fliptop-v12/pag...
Magickeys (also referred to as slide tool, slim tool or, magic switch): http://magickeys.net/
or tape and tissue mod: From Pretense: If the fliptop doesn't work, just give up on it and do a tape and tissue mod. Open up your case again and tape the back sensor (toward the upper left and beneath the hinge part of the lid) with duct tape or even regular Scotch tape (I use several layers to be on the safe side), put the case back together, and stuff a small ball of tissue into the hole for the front sensor (lower right just above the power button).
Pics (Thanks to PSPness): http://www.geocities.com/pstwoslimline/tapetissue.htm
my tape and more tape

Just about the same, just a change on Censor 'A' and Censor 'B'

Censor B - http://img393.imageshack.us/img393/572/dsc010703xc.jpg
keep the top closed, while you tape down the disk stopper, using a few layers of duct tape
Fur
Censor A - http://img393.imageshack.us/img393/4342/dsc010698we.jpg
use tiny strips of duct tape to patch over the tiny censor. I used a screwdriver to help put on the tape.

I have MSN, but I'm never on. Read my previous post. You need a slide card or flip top to use Swap Magic with the fat PS2. For the slim you need a flip top, Magic Key, Ghost Switch, or tape and tissue mod.
