if you want to get technical about being biased...how long has sony been at it....how long has microsoft been at it in the consoles?? no where near as long as sony...why is it then,that xbox 360 has risen to an all time high,and it has sony ducking for cover,because sony couldn't get it right the first time for the PS3,why is it,admittedly only marginally ,the original xbox has out sold and is in more households worlwide than the PS2,with the exclusion of japan,but sales have picked up in japan,it appears the japenese have taken a liking to M$ hardware...
you talk of wise men....chew on this one,one wise man quoted,the japenese lost the war in hand to hand combat,but is winning the world over by buying us out....you SOLD OUT....

Clowns should i say...I never came on here say sony having problems with this or that i never bash X-Box i said the only problem i had with X-box is they port games to much.I Question you fools because you read links all day qouteing from links when you two do know the truth...thats whats so funny about you two suckers.I like the fact that Sony have some Comp(MS&Nin) that keep them on there toes.I see you're the ones who cant read or spell....lol.Every game console is going to have there upside & downside..Your telling me i dont know but the truth is you two are blind you only see what you want to see thatS MS A$$.Clowns have a nice day talk to you tomorrow.

with out critics for the game console giants...where would we be,i like to see third parties giving their opinions before i decide to buy...

I like the way I've been dragged into this again.
Sorry but I have to say I am no-ones boyfriend, I am no fanboy and I am far more educated than I can tell you about on a forum.
Like you I read everything on the net, and can simply only speculate. I have previously stated that I don't know what to believe and I am not biased, each to their own.
The links you guys have posted were very interesting indeed. The stuff about PS3 HD capability and one site stating 720p, 1080i & P would be standard in all software and movies, then all of a sudden it says elsewhere it is only achieving 720p at best. Then they did say AT THE MOMENT. They also said it depends a lot on developers and artists putting in the time to get it right.
It was stated that the current software was developed at 10 x DVD standard. So again conflicting information from different websites that you yourselves posted up, not me. What difference will we see when blue-ray is being utilised? It is going to take a lot of data in high definition and quality to fill a Blue-Ray disc and they are saying that they don't yet know how many layers they can acheive on a Blue-Ray disc, what I do know is that they have achieved 200GB or are very close to it.
I have to admit I was a bit gutted that the Killzone 2 footage was not an achievable game at present but then I still think it will be pretty amazing if that is what we are likely to see in the near future of either the 360 or the PS3.
Hell it may be that I end up favouring the X-Box 360 but then with my personal gripe with the controllers I don't know. Saying that I don't like the look of the controller for the PS3 either.

hey c'mon boss we never dragged your name into what we was trying to explain to the clown forum....that person is so thick...he/she was the one always having ago at the 3 of us...we have all read,and as you said,we read what we read,speculation or not,i was quite surprised myself too when they announced "speculative" that the Blu-ray maybe scrapped,due to costs and losses if they went ahead,also the high definition issue...but remember apart from the forum clown,the rest of us appear to agree with you..it's going to be a wait and see game,but at this stage it isn't looking good for sony...would you agree?

I totally agree that Sony may be having some major problems with certain aspects but I also think it is the same old story. They will get over it and resolve the problems. If they don't they really are in deep water. Hope they learned to swim!

honestly i dont recall why i dragged u in to it all but i think it centers around ur angry little post after i repsonded to the article u posted about how ONE developer said it wasnt hard to develop for the ps3. u then used that like it was truth and all rumors saying otherwise were lies which to me seemed a little dumb.There are twice as many articles saying it is hard to develop for than saying otherwise and 2 of those articles i speak of have top notch people saying its hard to develop for. The cell desinger for ps3 states it is, and Carmack(doom/quake developer) says "its a pain in his a$$". to me when neone who is contradicting what the company is saying about there own product(in a negative way) theres something missing. oh and u referred to there being two sides of the story as far as the guy they fired for posting the artcile giving harsh reviews to the ps3...come on dont be an idiot. he posted the article...week later they fired him and ordered him to remove it,what else do you think happened man use your head.

Carmack is a PC programmer, a good one yes, but Quake and Doom started something which has now moved on, he hasn't.
Hostee has to my knowledge never said the Cell is hard to program for. He said of Carmack
"I think whenever you have competing platforms,There are people who really like one platform vs. the other. I?m not sure I agree with?he didn?t give me very many reasons why he feels that way. I got the impression that he?s just someone who likes PCs more."
I get the impression that people that have bought a 360 are desparately trying to justify there purchase of one to themselves. The more astute people will wait till the PS3 comes out and judge then, comparing them side by side.

I take it by your statements that you have a 360. Fine.
If you were then telling us all about how good the xbox is, listing it's positives then thats great, but your not. You spend paragraphs deriding the PS3 telling us all how sh*t it is. I come back with an opinion from what I've read about how maybe it ain't that bad and I'm talking sony fanboy trash. Hmmmm.
I'm honestly interested in the POSITIVES of the 360 if you'd like to share them. (But don't compare it to a system that isn't about yet)

we have not spoken of anything negative about the xbox...xbox 360,PS2 or PS3.we have merely been giving out links and information as they come to us,yes sure the internet is full of BS ,but not from credible gaming critics,one fact that has come out of this is that game developers HAVE stated that the cell proccessor will be hard to cater for,the other fact,is AT THIS STAGE the PS3 is only capable of reaching 720 i & p....but it WAS also STATED this may change before launch,also another fact,it came from the man himself at sony,the PS3 will be expensive,but how,he would not elaborate,the gaming critics are speculating that sony will launch it at around the $500 USD mark,and are wondering how sony are going to absorb the loss from each console....if you had any comprehension skills you would of read all of this on info supplied in this forum either by a person or link...
