Yea I know lol But Im still so excited I got it to work but the problem right now is trying to get megaman X To work I keep trying and nothing I keep trying to decrypt the rockaman.prx and it wont let me.see dude I dont got a PS2 But Im doin all this shit for my friend and Now I regret buying a Game Cube This shit is to tight.

hahaha, just go to my page thing and just use my "shoutbox"
and PAL is the default video mode for european television sets. IF you live in north america, than youll probably have a NTSC tv. so dont worry about it

thanks it worked!
my other question is if u can help me out again. I burnt fifa 06 using DVD Decrypter and it burned just fine but when i play the game it hangs and freezes at the loading screen. i am using Maxell DVD-R @ 4X and i have the latest firmware. Any ideas?

Check to make sure that your games doesn't have any fingerprints or something. Also all my gaems that I get from friends or something and burn a backup copy of I make sure that I leave them on my harddrive in a file that I have just incase I have any problem I'll still have it and then I'll make another copy.

ok, so I have now know how to backup my ps2 games, got all that, now i want to play them in my playstation2. I have read everything that you all have mentioned and have a few questions that I hope someone can help me with.... when you refer to flip top, are you talking about the slip playstations cuz there lids flip up to insert games? or is this something you buy? also, if i don't want to get a mod chip, what is the easiest one of the things that you guys have talked about to play the backups?
basically, i have a slim ps2, with no modifications to it right now, and need to know exactly what i need to order and where to get it so that I can play these burned games once I start burning them....

So I've read a lot on backing up PS2 games, but I haven't found much on using alcohol 120%. Does anyone have detailed info about burning a disc on this program? I've tried using copy wizard, but then when I select what drive the game is in, the option at the bottom for playstation2 disappears. Am I supposed to use image burning wizard? I also have Nero 6 ultra edition, and ImgBurn if that's easier. I have the flip top and swap discs, too. Thanks a lot!

And to answer your question, scotchy19, if you don't want to use a modchip, the flip top is the way to go. I don't want to advertise on this thread, so go to google and search for PS2 Flip-Top Cover with Swap Magic 3.6 - No Modchip Required. The first one that comes up costs about 32 bucks. You will have to void the warranty on the ps2, though. Also make sure the underside of your ps2 has only 8 screws... if it has 10, then it will be a while before the site gets that model in. Hope this helps.

I'm not exactly sure if its better than a mod chip, but I know that its much easier to install. The flip top only needs to replace the case thats on your ps2 now, and that takes like ten minutes at the most. Search google for ps2 slim flip top, and the first one that comes up is like 35 bucks. There might be better prices out there, but I chose this site because it tells you the shipping cost upfront instead of making you fill in your info first. Also, if you have any helpful info on burning ps2 games, please help me out!
