No it doesnt, I just backed up my copy and it works fine without any alterations.
And I might add that it is a great game, my favorite out of any of the other action/shooter games that have come out recently. The warriors is great too. (the 2 movie games)

No, the Godfather does not need rebuilding. It's not a double-layer game. Thank goodness.
Ok yall, I want to ask yall a question. One that hasn't been mentioned yet. How exactly would you do a game that was made for the PS2 camera gameplay? Would a backup copy of it work right. I think it should. But I don't know, so please let me know.

How are you supposed to play 2 disc burned games? When it prompts you to change discs, will it work since its already booted up?

swap magic doesnt support multi disk games, only modchips do.

Ok here is where I am at right now.
My PS2 has the HDD (40 gig from FFXI) and I?m not sure on the version.
I have a DVD Dual layer burner and a retail copy of alcohol 120%
All I want to do is burn a copy of kingdom hearts 2; would I need a mod chip or something special to run it? What if I plan on taking the copy and playing it on a friend?s PS2?
Could some tell me what I need?
(Sorry if this has been answered before but I?m in class right now and I don?t have much time :()

ok the ps2 that is RUNNING the burned game needs the modchip. so if u wanted to take it to ur friends house and play it there, then ur friends ps2 would need a modchip. OR u could buy swap magic instead, and bring that to ur friends house and use it on his ps2.

i`v been trying to burn ps2 games with a lot of different burning software and i cant get one to work for me i have DVD decryptor and i have Alcohol 120% and i also have Nero and clone dvd and i cant get any of them to work what am i doing wrong please tell me HELP thank you

yes i have a modd chip in my ps2 and it works i have other burnt ps2 games i did a long time ago and they work great

ive just downloaded kingdon heart2 ps2 game and it came with a lot of files called s-kh2, about 30. ive just extracted it but then another file camu up called s-kh2 so i then extracted that then a buch of files came up like system speed dial.
can someone please tell me what to do

Any tricks to burn "Black" PAL DVD or is it just a straight Nero7 burn? ie does it need to be injected with dna?

I have read on here how to do this before, but it has been awhile, how do you join 4 iso's together into 1 to burn on dvd, it is on the true crime la game, if anyone can help I would appreciate it

Hi,
I'm new here, and I have to say that everybody here is very helpful. I tried looking for ways to backup my PS2 games everywhere, and couldn't find anything helpful and easy till I came here.
Anyways, I have a couple of questions. My first is about DVD Decryptor (same question as above), I did the read/extract PS2 game to HD, and I have a zip file and another MDS file, so when I want to write the contents to a DVD-R do I just select the Zip? My second question is about the DNAS and online games, I want to backup NBA 2K6, which has online combatibility, I have Disc ID Utility, but can someone give me a simple step by step tutorial on how I can use this program and patch up the game?
I know they might seem like stupid qusetions to some, but I'm a beginner, so please forgive me!

i'm not sure why u have a zip file. normally when it extracts theres the ISO thats should be big and then the mds file that is small. u sure the zip file is not an mds file? if it is one, then just use DVD Decryptor and instead do mode>iso>write and burn.
as for the DNAs thing, use Windip 1.7 to patch on the DNA$ codes. heres a guide
