the highest ive gotten was 40 kbs but then it was only there for like 1 mins
im on shaw cable the max on speed tests ive gotten is 2.0mb/s
now its @ 18 kbs :( and im dling battle for middle earth...
one episode of Las Vegas took me 3 days!! WTF

how many seeds? my rate is also 40 or 50 kBs when there are only a few seeds. The more seeds the faster. If there is like 6 or so it won't be that fast.
Currently I'm d\loading sky capt. and the world of tommorrow.... there were many torrents to chose from. I chose one with 30 seeds!!! that's why i'm haulin ass.
check out the seed count. let me know

omg and the download accelerator does nothing

does anyone know if i can get high download speeds using a LAN, cus at the moment it never seems to go above 2kb/s. i have configured my Mcaffee firewall to open up ports and allow Azureus access to the internet but its still really slow. what can i do as i am getting a yellow face all the time. can someone please help.

lol... what bit client R U using? The accelerator works I swear.
If you can put your bittorrent or bittornado on dsl\cable slow.. then on 29 kBs
set your accelerator to find more sources every 3 min,
set it to accelerate all d\loads in bittorrent, then enable
I never fucked with my ports or router, never once

how do i find out my router?? i dont know if i have one. i have found out my default ip but nothing happens when i put that into my web browsers address bar?? so how can i configure my computer to forward my ports correctly?

woogirl... same thing happened to me, when i entered my ip nothing happened.. that's why i found an alternate method. and that's the only method i know shit about..
you'll probably have to wait till redscorpi gets on he know lots more about this than i do
