Those TY's and Verbs are doing just fine :)

Even the Memorex's are doing good (Ritek).

Sorry there greensman but no Dallas fan here being that I'm born and raised Redskin fan (yes they sucked this year!!)

the -r verbatim mccoo3 does suck the 7.99 ones from office max,
and cincy rob understood the pain.
i'm sorry miss blikie the red skins probably suck next year too.
There is just soemthing not right about them and its probably coach Speerier.

i will add more salt to your wound probably kosher salt this time(just kidding). during the game the analyst mentioned that Edwards and Dungy sort of look alike. Is there any truth to that??

damn all the sudden i can't burn on the fly with Nero with my Lite-On drive WTF( the box you check is grayed out) i can with the Plextors though , anyone ever seen this?

You are from what Ive read the only one that is willing to take the chance [or speak of] at Memorex... well let me frist say Ive tied it on DL and am not happy- but that being said that is before I came here to AD-

I have gotten sound advice fome you in the past... My thougt is how do I tell the good Memorexs from the bad ones? Did you run them thought a DVD idenifyier or can you tell from the bar code?

From my experience it is luck of the draw. Pig in a Poke so to say on those MEMOREX's. I still wouldn't buy them on purpose. lol. I think that binkie7 got them as a gift and checked them with some sort of DVD identity software. binkie7 is that right?

Moral as far as I'm concerned. For the most part buy genuine TY, Verbs (MIT, MI Singapore DL~I think that's right), and Hitachi MIJ. Those at the moment are the best bet on the DVD media scene. Used them all with no problems with the media. Machine and f/w have caused me headaches but the media is flawless.

Good luck interpolating that. lol.

Ya... was wishing maybe there was some kind of ID like MIJ or the spacer type on the cake box, but in fact IF the only way you can check is w/ DVD identifer or DVDinfoPro then Ill pass... I was wishing maybe she had some kind of trick to ID the good stuff [if in fact there is any] ... I was grasping for info- LOL, She has shined light on a few things for me and many others sense Ive been here, so what the heck thought I would ask-

For the most part I like to kick the stack over in the store as Im walking by LOL...

heck it is getting harder to find the true MIJ sony's with the way they package them now they got that peace of paper on the top now so you cant see the spacer. you know the white octagon spacer we all love

hell that isnt nothing to do. when you have about 50 of those spacer laying around..lol scan and post..lol now BlivetNC is the one to put together some really cool stuff..... just got back from microcenter and got me 50 16xdvd+r printable verbs for $15.99 not hub printable but they'll do..lol.. i dont know if its true or not but i asked the guy there at microcenter about 8x verbs and he said they are doing away with all 8x media.. i hope he ment microcenter and not VERBATIM..

Hey cincyrob did you pick up another pack of them Ridata Cd's for $4.99 and SD 2 gb card for $20.00. How'd you end up on the OD Cd's. Our Microcenter only had 8x memosux and some off brands. Chris

i have about 120 or so of those office depot cd-r's ive used maybe 3 so far..lol. i just got the 50pc 16x+r printable verbs and some clear cases(20). cost me 21 buck and some change.gotta go dumpster diven at blockbuster to get me some more cases...lol

Sorry to say this but up here in Canada (yes Al Bundy is Canadian j/k) but you find that last pis of those Sony's everyone loves all over a WalMart. They just alot of money (something like $25-$30 per 50 pack. Ouch!!!
