correct doing the complete movie with CloneDVD 2 + AnyDVD will be a problem

BUT theres a beta verison of AnyDVD that will do the complete movie

I don't have saw III yet but I'll bet you can backup the movie with menu if you rip it with ripit4me and then load the folder into CloneDVD.

Ya same here... I use an Onkyo receiver and do enjoy the DTS but sense I do like horror, most of it is not worth putting it on a DL disk, so I settle for the 6.1 sound track. clone has been putting the EX along w/ the 5.1 so I dont mind.

Time to move up to the wonderful world of dvd-rb/cce. The only time I ever use DL media is when I'm combining a couple of discs from episodic dvd's (law and order, 24, etc). I use dvdremake to remove all the garbage and to combine the folders and then use rb/cce to compress down to fit on a DL disc.

Just use the wizzard mode. Before you use it be sure to put a check in the "include video_ts" box in preferences under the logs/settings tab. Otherwise the ripped folder won't load into CloneDVD. Also make sure the path to DVD Decrypter is correct. Create PSL then rip w/ DVD Decrypter then step 3b IFO cleanup click do it. Step 4 click process with fixvts. Almost forgot, you'll need to nake a folder or select the hdd you want for base path for target rips in the preferances window.

Have been unable to rip Saw3 with Ripit4me and updated fixVTS1063. Did it with AnyDVD and CloneDVD nothing else worked.Copy played flawlessly tho.

Saw III, no problem with Ripit4ME followed by CloneDVD2, the whole movie, no issues, even backed this one up on a DL disk. Good, haunting movie, very disturbing.

hey everyone i got a interesting question here.. a freind of mine bought a 50ct cake box of immatation 16xdvd+r's.i know junk, thats what i told him..lol but he said they are codeing out as TY's. he said they are TYG03... but isnt that the code for the -r's??? he has +r's i think and told him they are fakes.... but how could fakes get in a major store line? let alone in the immatation name brand??? he got them at target. any idea's has anyone else seen or heard of immatations codeing out as ty's?

Have him check out the coding on the inner hub, TYG03 are -R according to Doc, but...

It would be nice if Imation dumped CMC in favor of TY, but let's kick the tires a couple of times before we jump for joy over this.
Better yet, borrow one from him and do your own testing\inspection on it, couldn't hurt right?

yea im not in no big hurry to go take a chance on them just yet. i did tell him i wanted one so i can check them out myself. i know they are fakes gotta be.. the codeing dont make sence.. they are +r's with -r code????

HERRICK, yeah I did burn saw3 with clone and AnyDVD so it said succesfully, but will not play on any of my players, and yes at the saw3 thread most people using that ripit4me thingy have had success.

I also didnt try the new beta AnyDVD update for the exact reason bieng afraid something might go wrong than I wouldnt know how to fix it, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hope AnyDVD releases the new full version soon and keep my fingers crossed again, after a year and a half, this is the first time my clone and AnyDVD has went up to bat and swung with a strike. But I'll tell ya, those guys at that saw3 thread they are amazing man and shoved it right up liongates booty.

I'm to old to ever get that tech savvy but boy am I proud of those youngsters on that saw3 thread.

Once again, for saw III movie and menu's, ripit4me should do the trick. You will probably need to download and install the latest version of fixvts (1.6.4.0) in your ripit4me folder. I don't think the ripit4me installer will automatically install the latest version of fixvts. It will install fixvts but an older version that doesn't work on some late releases. You can find the latest vs here at AD in the software section or by googling. I downloaded vs 1.6.3.0 thinking it was the latest version but after installing I found out it was actually 1.6.4.0. Even better.

Once it is ripped plug it into the transcoding/encoding proggy of your choice and you're set.

i check my fixvts this morning and i have 1.6.2.0 checked for updates and couldnt find any????? guess i will goto AD's software and get it.i havent gotten SAW 3 yet just waiting to see what all the hubbub is about...lol

rip it 4 me copied SAW III just fine, but I have questions.

1) Do I have to always take it to my hard drive first, I tried on the fly said destination was to small that message was with a dual layer disc.

2) Once rip it 4 me tried to open DVD Decrypter it gave this message please tell me what setting to change to avoid this message in the future.
