Yeah I don't know what all the fuss about it was - whatever. It's pretty much what I remember from history and of course the History Channel :)
I'm with you herrick on the subs but for a movie like this it adds to the whole package imho. Kinda stops me from doing my usual multi tasking :)
Watching Letters From Iwo Jima now.

@herrick: Those are both good sites. They don't seem to beat supermediastore's prices on compatible ink, though, at a regular price of $48 for two sets ($4 apiece), but I'm sure that all these stores run sales once in awhile that beat all the competition. Thanks for the info!

@herrick: If you just want the disc printing option, I hear the R260 is a great option. I wanted the whole deal though (including scanner, high end photo prints, etc.) and picked up the RX580 for $129 from the Epson Store. It's an amazing piece of equipment, and looks to be well worth the price.

Yes you will be hooked once you start printing on them!
I use the Taiyo Yuden -R from supermedia - good prices on them. I also get the non epson ink there too.
I gave up on Epson after the CD/DVD tray loading problems I had. Sure you can work around it but I'd prefer not to have to deal with the problem. Instead I bought the Flashjet 4800 at $899, expensive (I just recieved one from UPS) but it works great!! Only prints CD's & DVD's though which is what I bought it for. Oh & it doesn't require propietary software to print onto discs as the Epsons do.
TY silver inkjet prints too dark for my tastes so I'll use white inkjet printable instead. Other then that TY is great stuff.
About 30 8x TY's left then I'll go through the 400 Verb 4x (-R) white inkjet printables I bought 2 weeks ago. Takes longer to burn but I have the time for it. Will use the 4x Verbs till I can't get anymore (hey $22 per hundred isn't bad) then go back to the TY 8x again for the cheaper price then what 16x media costs.

apacolypto and iwo jima, yeah it was good, I know most people dont like captions or subtitles, but to me its a godsend, started to lose my hearing some time ago, last movie I saw in a theater was Dances with Wolves when I realized I was missing half of the dialog, plus people that cant keep thier mouth shut was the big turn off for me.
But did go and see apocolypto in the theater finally, went during the day without kids around yaking, I really enjoyed it, and not missing any dialog was a big plus.

@bratcher
I had the tray problem on the R300 but I had a 2 year warranty on it.
It started acting up close to the end of the warranty. Took it back to Best Buy and they replaced it with the R340. So far no problems w/ that one and it's been over a year. It's all I really use it for - I print a pic or a paper but rarely.
Yep Letters From Iwo Jima was a great movie!!
@FredBun
I'm with you - when I do go to the movies it's during a weekday when hardly anyone is there.
@aabbccdd
Totally off topic again but Tool's coming back around my area. Seeing them next Friday in Baltimore. Can't wait!

Yeah I was kinda surprised they we're coming back around here.
Washington DC and Baltimore are maybe 25-30 miles apart.
But hey I'll see them again :)
If they allow cameras this time I'll try and get some pics.

not that pans labirynth or apocalypto were bad (i liked both) but they were the only good titles for a while now, and theyre both eng sub only movies (not that i care, i've been watching sub movies for quite some time.). so with that in consideration the movie selection has been pretty weak
haven't watched 2 letters' yet or flags of our fathers either

Yeah - Pan's Labyrinth was a good one too - really liked it.
Yep pickings have been slim in the new releases - some I've watched are a waste of using my printable TY's.
Guess the movie industry does this to try and get people to see the 'summer blockbusters'.

best I've seen lately was "Deja'Vu" but that's to be expected as I'm yet to see a movie with Denzel Washington I didn't like. he's one of my favorite actors.
I still think my favorite film of all time is "A Time to Kill" with it's all star cast including Mathew McConaughey, Kevin Spacey, Sandra Bullock (and she looks damn good), Ashley Judd, Samual L. Jackson, and Donald and Kiefer Sutherland just to name a few. Just don't get much better.
