you have rename the folder(the 3.47gb one) that you placed all of those files in....when you first started the tutorial..it told you to make a folder to place all of those files in..i think you said your folder's name was "GOD" just rename the folder your files are in to 'GODOFWAR' ( without the ' ). it will only recognize them if the folder is named exactly that[Qoute FROM JIZMAK]. once you rename it..it will allow you to build the iso...good luck

I did that, changed the name of my GOD folder(3.47gb) to GODOFWAR and it still says-Couldn't find 'GODOFWAR/SYSTEM.CNF'Aborting..', like I said before the system.cnf file is in the Apache file list before I try to build the ISO.

:::scratching head::: hmmm....that file is going to be in your list in apache2...i just don't understand why it's not allowing you to build the iso....i hate to tell you this you may have to redo it all over again...just to make sure you have all the files linked and moved over....that's all i can think of at the moment other than your .iml file being corrupt...when i first got that message, i erased everything and started over...and right before i built the iso...i renamed it....good luck

i have swap magic 3.3 and i don't have any probs with it...i think you may be burning that file too fast...or you may need better media..what are you using(burner and media)?..i know you said you can't burn slower than 2x....::::need sleep::::

@ mickeyd69 i had the same problem when i wanted to build the iso, it brought up the same message so wat i did was i took the iml and the other file and just put it in my godofwar folder without opening it (the godofwar folder). and dat solved my problem.

@-'LiquidusX'~

okay the problem is you are using swap magic.swap magic cant play any backup games over 4.3gb without refreshing the toc.and games that are between 4gb-4.3gb have to be copied perfectly in order for them to play right.

Using dvd decrypter in the box on the write on mode iso write.
In the box is a line that says "supported write speeds".
Insert your blank media and see what your supported speeds are.
Burn at 1x-2x (IF IT IS A SUPPORTED SPEED).
If not then try updating your firmware.

I also have one question done your end file size match mine.

3,751,772,160
3.49gb

Good luck :)

hey, just signed up here. saw gow tutorial. i tried the downsampling thing...didnt work out too well. so im going to try your method. I understand there will be no bonus movies so i was wondering if you or some1 could explain how to get them. There are like 20 pages on "the official god of war backup tutorial" so i kinda got tired after the first 10. i didnt see anywhere how to burn the bonus movies. help por favor

(uh...on the backuptools.uk tutorial, i ended up having to make my own iml. tried building iso with apache AND iml 2 dvd but the iml2 dvd just hangs at 99%. (im still seeing about apache but its taking forever, i rightclick on the saved iso spot as its creating, and it only goes up in size by a little every half our-ish) dont know y. i spent so many hours downsampling, reading, and more reading. I pretty pissed at this pnt)

so far its playing and i tried opening 'making god if war' and it played fine as well (skipped but it opened in like 5 seconds)
right now im trying to make iso with the 2 files that came in the backuptools tutorial. lets see if it works. is there anyway to tell if a gow bcakup is a coaster? or if it will freeze? do i really have to beat the game to fine out?

BTW, all my files ( u know like what you see when u pop in the original cd and explorer opens it up) turne dout to be 3.85 gb after the tutorial. dont know why, b/c i followed backuptools word for word.....
