You need a mod chip or swap magic discs to play backups!! ahhhh!!!!
ahh!!!! ah!!!!!
and the udf/iso option is the last project type when you create a new dvd project. If you Nero doesnt have that then i guess it's ass old and you need to upgrade.

yeah, I know you're retarded.

Let me start by saying I've got the PlayStation 2 SCPH-70000 series. I'm following the poodude methodology :)
-decryptor all files from PS2 DVD ROM disc to folder on HDD
-open isobuster app and load image file that decryptor just created
-Ctrl A all the files and right-click to extract all files into a new folder.
-open Nero 6 Burning ROM app and add all the files I just extracted to the Nero folder and burn it to a blank DVD.

My PS2 does not play -R movies only +R movies, so I use +R disks. Makes sense. So, I put the newly created DVD+R disk into PS2 and the PS2 displays "Please insert a PlayStation or PlayStation 2 format disc"

Any ideas for a PS2 dupe rookie?

Thank you so much for the info on dummy files. I made about a dozen coasters before learning about these files. Some of them even booted but they were so choppy they were unplayable. Thought it might've been bad media but after getting rid of and replacing the dummy files the backups play just fine!

Im using a mega memory 16 memory card and it works fine with all my other backed up games just this game doesnt notice it. Did I do something wrong when I was backing it up.... Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

This may sound weird but uh...i d\l an iso of gt4. the size of the iso is 4.94gig. it says this on the yellow pop of when you hover over the file and when i try to burn it to dvdr. the thing is i mounted it on a virtual drive and it mounts it as 2.49gig and also when i extracted the disc to a folder it reads 2.49gig. whats the deal here and can i burn the extracted to a dvdr and it play fine? thanks!

Hi. There's something I,ve been wondering about the order of the files in Nero when rbuilding an image, when people say put it in the order it appears in IsoBuster, does that mean directories as welel. And what the files in those directories : should I drag all the files to the root and then the files in the folder or should I follow the order of the directories, put the file in order in the directories and then continue with the root ?

Very interesting. Now for a stupid question. I am assuming this technique only works on a modded PS2, Correct?

this technique works on any ps2 using a mod chip or swap discs. I use swap magic, as I have a v12 ps2 and its just easier and I don't void warantee. When rebuilding the image, you just drag the files AND DIRECTORIES in order as in ISOBUSTER. Dont worry about dragging the files within the subfolders in order, it's not necessary. Just the files as shown in the main root directory in ISOBUSTER.

Just use Roxio Easy Dvd Copy for God of War, no special settings my backup works great. Now it wont work for all the games I have had luck with Midnight Club Dub Edition, and God of War. Gt4 wouldnt work or Street v3, and as I can see everyone else is having some trouble as well.
