Nothing to do with DVD9, it's just the general impression from reading all the threads.
And if you base your posts on the fact that you can't comment if it's not out - Surely you can't use the positive aspects either because:-
A. Some things may be speculation
B. Some things may be revised
C. Some things may be rubbish
D. Blu Ray could be a massive flop.
Don't get me wrong, I am also a PS3 fan, but I don't back an empty silver box over an Xbox 360.

no sh*t one would prefer that. but when it comes out then we'll see whats better. untill then, we dont know whats true, we dont know whats gunna be removed and whats gunna be added before its made. no doubt with this stall time they will updrage in some aspects, and rmove the unneeded.

Like all the ports on the back. Most of them have little implementing purpose. There's probably a connection for a kettle on there :)

all the ports have a point. ive discussed the plus of 2 hdmi's, and they could probably remove
3 of the 6 usb ports, saving 75 cents in royalties to ibm every console sold. they resy are
good. i also discussed the plus side of all the bluetooth ports.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

I think they are a bit over the top.
Perhaps if they had an option similar to the core/premium Xbox package, the core would only have the connections the average gamer would use (which certainly aint all that sh*t). This would make the console cheaper and the gamer would be getting everything they'd use anyway.

but that leads to complications. it would be alot easier to have one. its not like ports cost much. it will look like sony is following the ps3. sony is trying to make the 360 look like its behind, thats why i think they are realeasing little about the ps3 is cuz m$ will try to top it. if the ps3 come out with a bang in the lead m$ will scramble to catch up, just like vista is playing catchup to mac osx.

Thats not a fair comparison. If you go into ANY higher-end business in the world today, they are all using windows. When it comes to business there is no comparison to software, support, and general ease of use. Mac is great, but not for advanced stuff. They do what they do well, and right now thats looking to be home entertainment. But beyond that, is all m$ world.

you really havnt used a mac before, or atleast as often as i. they are far better than windows in those catagory. why did mirosoft headquaters order over a thousand imacs? maybe because there old windows machines were hacked to high heaven and macs are pretty impenitrible. also, mac osx has absolutely 0 viruses. this is mainly because all the secruity flaws are plugs, and u have to enter a password to install anything.

Right, cause with windows you never have to put in a password for anything. There are viruses with macs, you just keep repeating the same line over and over, in two different threads. You obviously just read this somewhere, and DUH, mac fixes security holes and windows doesnt? How stupid do you honestly believe we all are to try and pass over something so rediculous? they fixed major holes yes, but some lines of coding cant be changed and the kernel can still be exploited. by entering a password at every system change it prevents viruses from working and spyware and trojens from downloading all by their own. anyone know what a b*tch it is to get rid of eZula?

strayin alittle off topic arnt we?
but it dose bring up a little thing about bluray, seeing as how most computers are MS systems it would almost seam that with out MS having some acess to BR the format wouldnt take off vary well. and if they get to use it on there puters, 360 should be able to get it. PS3 sales wont be enough to block busness sales of MS products that use BR. Sony will probibly go for the biger payout insted of the little gaming system advantage from holdiong it back.

m$ is a a struggling slub of a company in the xbox relm. they keep changing mind all the time. first no next gen cd, the hd dvd addon, hten blu ray addon, then no blu ray addon. i bet sony denied their a$$es hard and m$ wants to seem like they dont want it anyways. a pc is a customizable world, you dont have to give anything to m$ to have an addon for their computers. the drive companies have to pay little or nothing, and m$ can prohibit them from being used. pc's could still use them but the 360 is denied.

yes they make good points, but also gotta keep in mind this is the begining of the lives of 360 games, and the average is already half, and with an older increase reate of 56, they would all be puchish the edge. also, this is a next gen. more coding is needed for more fetures, for graphics, and for the multi threading. if you noticed, games for the ps1 began at 100 megs ish, and push to the edge with many, and even went into multiple disks. gams for the xbox and ps2 began around 700-1000 megs, and went all the way to half or more. they havnt factored in all the info. im not saying they are wrong, im just saying they could be making a mistake. the old xbox is a previos gen system. ps1 games were small and about 500 megs, and ps2 games got up to 5 gigs. remember this, i am only showing an opinion as to why they may too be wrong.

56% of 5G means basically 2.5 which means that the xbox 360 at the end of say, ummm 2010 will be about that 7.5G size according to the last gen. so for the games to go over 9G they will need 100% increase fromn 5G for it to double.

that is using old xbox standards as i said. the ps1 had games averaging about 500megs, and the ps2 averaged at about 4gigs, an 8x increase.
