I found a couple different versions of framework and tried them all with no luck.

I don't think you'll be able to look at the files on the disc, even with the LG DVD drive. I guess I never tried on a backup, but I know you can't with an original. The very first thing I would do is put the (new one you just burned) game back in the LG Drive, fire up RawDump, and see if it recognizes it as a Wii disc. (If it's a valid game, it will show title of the game, but you might have to start it and cancel to see) If it shows it as a valid game and starts ripping, then the problem is in your modchip. From the sounds of it, that might be your problem.

If you know somene who has a modded wii and can get your hands on a backup that definitely works, that would be ideal to test it out before ripping apart the Wii for round two of soldering...
