low quality vid, nothing impressived. and the high quality doqnload i dont wanna register.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

yeah it was not hd thats for sure. i still think ghost recon will be the game to keep xbox 360 games very, and i mean very happy untill gears of war huxley and others come out. its got some really good points to it for online play like 16 player co op.
i really can not wait for e3 this year, apparantly its sometime around early may, which is not far off. its going to be so awesome, you will see games like gears of war, mass effect, huxley, killzone 2 and mgs4.

oh and also saints row is also looking awesome thats deffinalty in my five most wanted games for 2006. its got some really good aspects to it and the graphics are really good, they just feel finished off whe you watch some of the footage from X05, and even e3. when it comes out this summer it should be looking eve better i hope. it also has live capablities, i am interested to know what they have done with that.

i think sony will have a hard time if they bring their console out priced alot more than the 360, cos if people are considering buying a console, lets saw for fight night round 3, they will pay the cheaper console price for the game especially as it will be out on the 360 first and on a cheaper priced machine. sony will have to do something very special to get the sales.
lots of talk about the sony online they are designing, dont think it will beat xbox live, live has been out for ages as the one to have for online gaming.
And the talk about the ps3 doing the killzone graphics, why did they bother showing stuff like that if they wouldnt be able to do it , atleast not for a few more years. but they show it as something that it will be able to do straight away.
wish they would stop over hyping their stuff.

as i can see it both consoles are about the same, when put side by side, in graphical terms and in other features. i think this gen console war will be a lot closer than before, but i think ps3 will eventually win mainly just from the name they carry over into this gen fomr the last gen and b/c of word of mouth, i mean people who own the machine will be like its crazy awesome, to other people and those people most likely owned a ps2 or ps 1 therefore will be more willing to go out and spend money on a console without seeing the rev or xbox 360. its only when you do reserch that you realise how many awesome games are coming out for xbox 360.
i really hope that killzone graphics are true for two main reasons, one b/c then i will buy a ps3 and be very happy and two b/c i know that when halo 3 comes out it will most likely have the same kind of graphics.

this means the processor wont delay production, but the rsx still unknown in completion

and with all these games. to people saying there is only slight plus in the ps3, think about
this. 1st, most of these games coming out are for both consoles, so keep that in mind that
its just a copy-over import. and 2nd, its early in the consoles life, wait untill another year
goes by to really see where each excells.
and in my view, i think companies pick intel and ati over amd and nvidia because ati and
intel offer cheaper prices but are less in quality. like in the mac world, they chose intel cuz
then they get them cheap and dont have to pay licensing fees on usb. but in this, apple is
being made to faze out firewire for usb and the new firewire wireless for wireless usb.

There was a miss understanding earlier. When I said Ghost Reacon looks brilliant I didnt mean in terms of video quality (that was pritty obvious how bad that was) I ment in terms of gameplay.
I hope this generation will be able to produce near Killzone 2 quality graphics as anyone would but Sony are so good at getting hopes high then not quite delivering. I hope Sony can come up with somthing which means Halo 3 will have very good graphics aswell as the games coming to PS3.
Anyway when the weekend comes I will post the article on the PS3 cell prossesor.
Oh yes about that information you said anubis. The stuff on Halo 3 is quite old now but has already been proven false by Bungie who stated that they have never heard of such garbage and even laughed at such a suggestion. Also your correct about the Cell chip being easy to manafacture, its actualy in part of my article on the Cell I will post.

i trully beleive that either company sony or M$ by DEC can produce games like killzone or very close to that. just by looking at huxley, gears of war, ghost recon 3 and 2 days to vegas, oh and mass effect.

less than 12 hrs till tgs and finally seeing some of the ps3, oh and does anybody know if xbox 360 will be their b/c i mean they are bringing out a lot of games in the coming weeks i would have thought they would show off some of them.
also on some website that looked official, they had a countdown to the e3 this year and by what they said its going to happen on may 5, i think, or somewhere veryclose to that.

i am interested to know where the hard drive will actually fit on the ps3, b/c there does not seem to be a place that can see for it unlike the xbox 360, but then again they will probably fit it in some compartment on the side or something, who knows.

i think that to the left of the disk slot there is a curved bit that could be a panel that flips open to reveal the slot, otherwise in will have to plug in via usb, but it is quite big unit so it will probably nicely slide inside

i am trying to do a lot of reaserch today b/c i decided that i want to go to the e3 in los angeles this year, but do not know when and how much it costs. i read on the officail website that it is from the 10th of may to the 12 but i remember it being a lot longer last year. i if do go then i will have to use the money i was going to use for a snowboarding holiday in france, but its worth it just to see, some of the games and other cool stuff.
edit, well i just read that e3 is not open to the public, which SUCKS BIG TIME, oh well just gonna have to look at it from my pc.

I have some more news for you guys.
Street Fighter 2 Hyper Fighting has been given a release date for Live Arcade of the 27th of Febuary.
Bomberman Act Zero (a graphical improvement on bomber man) is to be released on Live Arcade.
The 360 Camera will be out very soon.
I was going to post PS3 news as well but Rabbity and Howjord have beaten me to it. So it looks like the PS3 will not come with a Hard Drive and the Sony version of Xbox Live is code named HUB.
Also Rabbity I will be so jelouse if you get to go to E3. This year's E3 will be a very exciting one with all the info on PS3 and Rev aswell as playable games of the top 360 games and maybe if we are very lucky a sneek preview of Halo 3.

lxhotboy, you read my last post wrong.
the part about those CS:S people, was a metophorical example of a similar situation of how people view sales/marketing as those CS:S noobs did with the specs. (both first glance and assumptions)
i never said that the ps3 has twice as much power, that wasnt me saying it, on CS:S it was some noobs who said that and they were vastly wrong. all assumptions, they didnt even know what flops were used for. didnt know a thing they did.
The PS3 and xbox 360 are just as powerful as each other.
and each one is a bit better in certain areas. to make the games that they power look better, so a better gaming experience can be had.
and i DO know that the system with the better games will ultimately be the one that does better.
but for an ironic decision.
would you rather have:
a) the best game ever made ever (thats being played on xbox 1) (yes xbox 1) that plays awfully. like 15-20 fps with lots of jumping.
b) a really REALLY crap game for playstation 4(yes 4, thinking about future here) that plays at like 100FPS minimum.
in my opinion both are crap.
whats the point in having a fantastic game thats at a jerktastic 20FPS, unplayable.
or a very very fast playing game, but so boring, watching paint dry is more fun.
ultimately both systems need to be a good compromise of both.
and BTW, ghost recon 3 looks 200 million times better than ghost recon 2, which i bought for xbox 1, (what a WASTE of money!!) it was the biggest load of crap ever.
it looks fantastic (gameplay wise, internet videos will never be able to reach HD quality at the min, so why did some of you earlier say that the graphics werent that good, OBVIOUSLY they wont be good over the net, dough)
Don't judge the consoles by specs, more isnt always better, espec in PS3 specs.i know the truth, ask if u wanna know.......
Do not compete without valid correct technicality on your terms of the argument.

Weren't some companies claiming that a hard drive is vital to online gameplay?
Or were they just mad at Nintendo and brown-nosing Microsoft?
Let's see what they say now that their beloved PS3 didn't bother with a hard drive.
Honestly, how many hard drives will people end up with in their homes? Get my coffee maker, because it has a hard drive in it and it and you can listen to music while you brew your folgers.

zelda do not get me wrong i am excited about seeing halo 3, but not as much as before, mainly b/c i have been doing a lot of reserch on huxley and its looking like an awesome game. the graphics are on par with gears of war, its an mmofps (massive multiplayer online first person shooter) , wihch is my kind of game, it has an ok story line to it and it can take up to 5000 people on every server.
i also have become very interested about saints row, as i have always liked gta, but i think that gta vice city was the best, and that this game is what san andres wanted to be.

ok guys check this out it will keep you happy till tomorrows tgs. its basically an graphics engine and game that was created by just three guys, and they basically like the unreal engine 3 website show off their stuff, but the only thing is their stuff is not coming out for another 2 years meaning that all of it looks like killzone graphics wihch tells me that in two years we will see killzone graphics on the ps3 and xbox 360.

you know, sonys stats have not been updated at all, and that link about the hdd provided nothing new. if sony doesnt include even a small hdd people wont get it. wants the point of its online service with independant games and music and such if you are not gunna have somewhere to store it all.

i doubt there will be a ps thing like the core and premium. if there is, the only dif will be whats included. it will still have wireless controllers and some stuff like nessecities in the cheap one, and in the expensive one, it will have the have 2 controllers a remote and a headset aswell as an hdd. i'd expect the headset to be bluetooth.

i believe there was also a Blu-ray rumor if there were indeed two different versions of the PS3. One of them couldn't playback Blu-ray movies or some nonsense along those lines...
