I've been watching this thread for 6 months. And I finally found a FIX for a SEMI-BRICKED Wii! Someone made an ISO to burn that works.
Burn the ISO on the following page for your region... and I can CONFIRM this works for my US Wii semi bricked by a Japanese version of Donkey Kong Barrel Blast... which I think goes by another name there. Jet Blast? I dunno... But it WORKS :-)

Can someone please point me in the right direction?? I have instaled a wiikey and im having a nightmare trying to update it,i've been onto the ultiamte sticky thread,followed it carefuly tried all the links and updates from the thread but still have had no luck. Does anybody know anywhere in the plymouth/cornwall area that would gladly take my money to do what im finding practically impossible. I'd be very greatfull if someone could help me out.Thanks

the nintendo channel is ok to update to,
it will also ask you for updates when you are on the internet channel, these are ok too, so far at least, one week on.
can anyone tell me if indiana jones and wiikey are ok?

ok here is my problem, I accidentally update a latest firmware from Mario Kart Pal to a USA or NTSC system which I am currently own... So I just did some reading online which told me I just SEmi-brick my system...Can any know know what the latest USA or NTSC game that I can used to unbrick my system...Or is there other method that I could use to unbrick my WII? Thanks

Until there's a game with a newer firmware on it I think you're shafted. So pray for an early 3.3U game...

Do the same rules apply to 1.9s updates as 1.9g on page 1 of this thread. i.e. you will hear Homers voice when update is complete.

I have tried like 6 different disc and i can get my wii to read any of them... if anybody is from the dfw and knows how to configure wiikeys please let me know ill be more then happy to pay as long is it works and is all up to date

same here.
i have tried config 1.2, 1.3, hacked config 1.2,1.3, recover 1.9.
Nothing works.
I have US version of Wii.
Originally I have wiikey 1.3 on my Wii and I did an update from internet to 3.2U. Now I can't read any backup disc.
what is going on??? can't even recovery... HELP HELP

i have 3.1E version wii PAL do i have to update it? If yes how can i do it? All games works fine but the latest two i tryed (family ski and mario kart) doesn't. I see the game on the chanel but when i start the game i get a black screen with error and i have to reset the wii. Anyone knows why? Thanks

ok so I've searched all over and can't figure this out. Original wiikey firmware trying to update but I get the error test connection when using 1.9s. I used the GCOS config 1.2 disk to turn region overide on, but I still get the error. Backups still work but can't play newer games. Any suggestions? Thanx!

first of all, if you spent timereserching you will find the answer eralier in this thread, but you have to update to 1.9s wiikey, (update discs can be found at the start of this thread). remember also to turn region overide on with 1.9x config disc(also at the start of this thread)then update via wii menu to 3.2e and all will work

firmware 3.3 seems to have been released, may cure anyone that has a semi bricked wii? (worth a try though)
as far as i can tell it is only the tp hack that has been fixed with this update?

yeah i tried myself the new Wii Update 3.3 gets rid of the twilight hack save file.. but the twilight hack itself it outdated. the homebrew channel is a lot easier and better to use. for those who dont know what it is click here!

Hi all,
I have a wiikey 1.9s and not sure what firmware I'm at. Well anyway whenever I put in Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 it shows in the game screen, but when i click start for some reason the screen just goes black and nothing happens. I've tried burning at 4x and 6x with imgburn with no luck. Can someone please give me some advice?
