sometimes just the thought of the "finer things in life" can make the magic Doc-X "re-appear" :) whew~! glad to know you can see it now, i'm not so good w/ all the images/scanning stuff; not a bad scan...gotta love them TYs :)

i got a few more, but, i don't wanna post them due to "POSSIBLE" disappearing magical "red-x" again~ hahahaha

Well after a tension filled day of disappearing red X's I am fine, trying to get ready for vacation. God a week and half of no computer, no burning, no forum, not TY's. I am going to be a basket case :o

Tired. Been up since last night doing a massive research paper. I will be tired tonight. Doc, I recommend photobucket.com, their server is very stable. You have to register, but it's free. I got turned off by imageshack's constant server issues. I've written several tutorials with 15+ pics, and they always handle everything perfectly. I've uploaded 20 pics at a time with no probs.

ive noticed on DOCTY's magical redX which i can see. your version of Nero must be newr than mine i think yours says 4.51.1 my version doesnt say that. may i ask how and where to get a update on that if possiable? when i do my quality check on my burnt disc i just get a green line normally straight across the board i dont have the green or pink markings for the pi errors and others. just curious?General Information

maybe this will work?this is what i get from my nero scan. is this a good burn or should i be trying something else. i am useing 16x dvd+2 verbs. burnts at 8x

on my way out the door, but, thought i'd let u know that i do have a paid membership to photobucket (i usually use that to host my ebay pictures or whatnot- but i'm currently sharing it with a business partner of mine, so, i keep it solely for ebay pics) :) thanks for the suggestion though~ :)
if imageshack has probs again, i will transfer all my scans to photobucket, get sum rest buddy...

i downloaded MY version of nero's cd/dvd speed from here:
http://www.softpedia.com/get/CD-DVD-Tools/CD-DVD-Rip-Other-Tools/...
hence, the "newest" of the versions (4.51.1) i use to scan my discs personally.
as to your scans, i have a feeling ur dvd burner drive (ur HP) doesn't support all the features of Nero cd/dvd speed and vice versa, hence you are getting an INACCURATE quality scan from your picture there~ :) either that, or something is setup improperly to give you such scans...if you notice, you have ZERO PI errors & PI failures, so that doesn't account for anything in terms of scanning...i'm leaning more towards your drive/nero doesn't support it~ :P

Wow - a week of no pc, internet or burning! Think I would go batty :)
But then again I take the laptop w/ me - no withdrawls :0)
But at least you'll get a break from the 'why did my burn fail I'm using Memorex!' or 'HELP can't backup Narnia, Geisha, Fun w/ Dick & Jane, Chicken Little, Hostel, etc.
Going anywhere good?

I use photobucket (free one) like tojikin. Imageshack was to up or down for me. Just my 2 cents :)
