meebe that offensive that it could scar peoples eyes, and AD are being sued by them, and fork out a lot of money... and no more AD. thats what COULD happen :P
but newayz, back to the topic. halo 3 was good, but meh... i reckonz the best game on xbox. a lot of my friends prefered halo over halo 2, so duno how its guna go. i dont know whats good about halo, IMO. hate playing fps games on consoles.
im guna actually save AUD$1000 for the 60 gig ps3. i hope its worth it :S . anyone got stats on what the package will contain, and what the console will haev inside it?

to get a full expierence from the 360 is just as high if not more, for less in return. i had this whole huge thing typed up on why and some cool things but i erased it cuz my net got effed up, so if you want me to explain ask. :(
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

i think most the ppl getting a 360 will be those who want games cheap to play on occation, and anyone who cares about gaming quite a bit and/or are hardcore gamers will get the ps3. i believe this cuz the 360 is cheap but lacks many special and fun features and a good game catalog (tho new games coming seem ok). and i believe this because hardcore gamers will see in the ps3 the slight edge in graphics, the much much shorting load times, the wifi, 60gb hdd over 20gb, dvd function, option to use like a pc with linux, ability to display in 1080p for those luck to have it (it will be more comming in the future), the ability to download old ps1 games, free basic online play, 6 axis motion senson, and a much cheaper alternative to a gaming pc (to get eveything the ps3 is and can do, would cost 3-4 times more in pc form. what a nice alt)
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

damnit! wtf happened? seeing someone being permanently banned means some form of entertainment took place. :-D
It'll be interesting to see how well this 600 price holds up.
In the long run, I hope it turns out to be not-so-good. The only reason I say that is not because I'm a Sony hater, but a successful ps3 at that price means a rise in the price barriers.

I'm not a Sony hater. I wanted a PS3 as much as the next person - until E3 that is. They are scouring through other manufacturers research and development department, to keep there own going.
@ Anubis.
At times you appear to invalidate you're own comments. You said that the 360 can't compare to the PS3's 1080p. A few posts later you say, it doesn't matter I don't have a HDTV anyway. I can honestly come out and say I can't tell the difference between 720p and 1080p.

i filled my own posts with ".........." not nephilim.they are a little hypocritical and strange when it comes to suspending people on here so i just went back and covered it up. ive got suspended twice for some sh!t,seems mods are sony lovers cause everytime i say something negative to a fanboy i get suspended. im still trying to wonder y sony fans dont like to be called fanboys they attend sights such as ps3fanboy.com so whatever.people should relaize this is a forum but by having a discussion ur inviting a mild debate...debates can get heated. nobody is getting hurt and if they cant stand the fire get out of the kitchen.if u havent noticed people in a good portion of people in here claim to work with computers and that should help clear things up but it doesnt.fanboys say ps3 is better in almost every way that matters,MS fanboys(which im classified as) say the 360 is just as powerful if not more.you would figure that since its something technical that it would be a little more clearcut.something that i have noticed is sony fans dont mind being lied to,given horrible customer serivce, and they have terrible arguments for the most part. ive been told that sony intentionally gave me a bad system and service cause they dont like me by a fanboy,i mean how ridiclous is that. i kept hearing about the 360 sucked cause of the overheating issue some consoles had which from what i hear was well withing the 3-5% manafacture defect rate. you dont see sony fellas acknowledging that their icon of a system(ps2) had a plethera of issues from start to finish with the laser readers burning out.sony has some good exclusives but they have also lost a ton of exclusives that they used to have. xbox 360 has like 20 new sweet exclusives and they seem like they have more heart when it comes to taking hold on this next gen battle.sony just sat around for a yr and plucked some ideas from the other two companies and threw them into a console with some expensive blu-ray(betamax of the futrue) technology and then to put the cherry on top they slapped the 600dollar price tag on it.sony fans are taking it with a smile,say what u will that im defending MS or some nonsense but sony is losing respect and losing it rapidly.their showing at e3 absolutely sucks to this point unlike the other two consoles there.sorry about the no paragraphs but get over it or dont read it

anubis there are way more games even on gamecube that were more playable and hardcore gaming, like super smash bros melee, etc then on the ps2, that is keeping in mind how large the oh so saintly library that the ps2 is suposed to have. and i am not saying that the ps3 woill have games that are not hardcore gaming but what i am trying to say is, how can just make an assumption based on stuff you have not played yet.
i just do not get why you have it in you to slag off the 360 sooo much. i mean i am probably an xbox 360 fanboy but when i see a good game like mgs4 or or gtr hd then i will say they are good, but with you whatever happenes you say crap stuff, even if i produce the best of links, like devs saying that the graphics chip is better on the xbox 360 than on the ps3, but no, you will still believe otherwise. i thought e3 would straighten everyhting out and people would feal more even about everyhting and less worked up, but now i realise that whatever M$ or nintendo do is just going to be over looked, by most people, aprat from a few who look at all games.

I don't think Sony will dominate the market as decidedly as last time. I'm sure they'll still be on top, but not by a 70 million unit margin.

on a small hdtv, its harder to tell the dif between 720p and 1080p, but on something more that 32" its noticable (its 360 more lines in the pic ppl how can u tell on smaller screens too?).

also, im going to stress that Phill Harrison, head of SCEA said even without the extra cards (of which none i own) and without wifi, the cheaper model performs the same exact features and can do what the other can in equal form. he says:Quote:

i should be on regularly keeping up-to-date with the posts. but yeah...
what anubis said earlier was correct, IMO. most people i know that have an xbox is modded. i dont hear many ps2 people have their ps2s modded at all. i kno one person who has a ps2 modded, but all he plays on it it NTSC games he d/l. people i know with modded xboxs have ISO images, emulators, movies, audio and an internet connection for the free version of xbox live. out of that analysis, ive come to realise that xbox is more for people who dont want to spend that much on games, but to mod it so that get more games without spending all that money. hes got more games than me on his xbox HDD than me owning ps2 games (roughly 17). cost me ~$500 and his cost... the monthly internet bill :'( . the other xbox owners i know only have a couple of games they own.

the ps2 was popular to mod during the first 3 years. i knew someone with one modded. i know no one with a modded xbox, nor do i really hear of it. i know only one person personally with a mod chip and its for ps2 cuz he's had it forever. modding can save money, but only like <1% of the console community mods, and ps2 modding will save even more since there are less addons and free online play. does the xbox have a mod chip that allows for online play? i think the ps2 does.
