I've heard mkv2vob can fix your issue, then remux with the original video stream. DelayCut might work. Or, demux using mkvextractgui, then use eac3to and convert the audio AC3-->AC3.
Just a few suggestions

i did demux using mkvextractgui and it was same , tried eac3to and same problem and tried delaycut and again same ...i guess need to try with mkv2vob :/
EDIT: i found way to get it working
i used River Past Audio Converter and converted ac3 to mka than extracted ac3 from mka with mkvextractgui and extracted ac3 added to tsmuxer and it worked :)

What format are you using. HD movies with DTS and subs are only compatible in Blu-ray format.

Ummm... Yes, it is. The only way DTS audio & subtitles will work in raw M2TS format is on a PC.

Like I said before, your tsMuxeR output must be Blu-ray in order for DTS to work, then burn to DVD using the UDF 2.5 file system, IMGBurn can do this.

How do you suggest playing DTS and subs in anything other than Blu-ray on the PS3?

Excuse me? You come here looking for help. I started and maintain this thread and now you want to be a smart *** and in your words "prove me wrong"...
So go ahead, instead of being so cryptic in your answers of how you did it, why don't you explain how so we can all benefit from your superior knowledge?

Hey guys .. slow down ...
I can explain this mess : my b***h a** twin brother poked his nose into my business trying to screw things up ..
I smacked him and now i'm turning towards you to understand me on this one : it will never happen again!
I swear to God ...
You're like mentors to me ... i'm so happy now that i made my first bd compliant sample ... and i'm pretty sure that i'll need more of your help so please forgive my lack of awareness ...
Thank you again !
You guys Rock !

There are a few ways to play your HD movies on the PS3.
1. As m2ts straight from the HDD. Video must be h264 and audio must be AC3 or LPCM... no subs.
2. As a AVCHD or BD, the video resolution must be a BD compliant one or else you'll get the green bar. HD resolutions can be 1280x720, 1440x1080, or 1920x1080. If you need subs and DTS, you need to recode the video. Instructions can be found here. There is a download with the instructions and apps needed.
3. Use an external hard drive (formatted to FAT32), or USB stick, along with AVCHD-ME and play as if it were a AVCHD disc or BD... just off the drive. Once again, the video must be a HD compliant resolution, just like the second option.

Hey Guys
I have a x264 mkv file, it is 1920 x 800, i want to add borders to make it 1920 x 1080, but i want to keep the bitrate and video quality untouched, is there anyway i can do this?
I am using this script in meGui
AddBorders (0,140,0,140)
But i am not sure what encoder settings i should use in meGui to keep the video quality/bitrate untouched.
Any help would be appreciated.
thanks

Your add borders command is good, don't forget to use the resize command as well... 1920x1080.
To keep the same approximate bit rate... I would demux the source, check the file size of the raw h264 file (####mb). I would set that value in the MeGUI bit rate calculator.

If you want the best quality, however it will take a long time. A 2hr 1080p recode on my quadcore takes about 10-12 hours. If you want something a little faster I suggest one of SA-Blu-ray profiles.
If you want to use Ryu77's I believe he updated it, you can download it here. I believe it was updated for better compatibility for standalone players. His profile previous to this one works fine on my PS3.
BTW, I only use Ryu77's
Also, here is another good thread Ryu77 started, lot of good info.

Odin, if the sum of the original video and the borders added equals exactly 1080 then there is no need to add a resize filter. :-)

Wiseguy eh? His source video was 1920x800, he wants 1920x1080. :) I just was making sure he doesn't leave out a major detail from a small oversight. Nowhere in his post does he mention resizing, he does however mention Addborders... just making sure.

Hey
I have re encoded a small 500mb test file cut from my original mkv, i used ryu profile, added the borders, the file is now 1920 x 1080, works great on my pc.
I used tsmuxer to output as blu-ray disk into a AVCHD folder, then i used avchd_me.exe it was successful.
I put the AVCHD folder on the root of my memory stick, tried it on the ps3, i get audio but no video?
I have repeated all of this with a different mkv file and i still have the same problem.
Any ideas what i am doing wrong?
thanks

is there any way to convert the sound from dts. to ac3.? and using tsMuxerGui is it normal for the subtitles do not appear? has it something to do with me splitting the files in that program?
