Thanks man! Hey Ryu, I asked you a question earlier on your other thread (The Complete HD Transcoding... thread) about merging or combining two files (part one & part two) in to one whole file, any advice on that topic?

hi, I tried to convert a movie in .ts format but the file I get doesn't work well on the ps3.
The sound is fine nut the video is not fluid, it plays few second then stop for about one second and so on.
the video is h.264 profile@4.0 and resolution of 1920:1084i with a frame rate of 25
the audio is ac3 284Kbps 48KHz with 6 channel
the video in 9.5Gb big and so I've selected the splittinjg otion in order to get files not bigger than 4.4Gb so the will fit on a DVD.
Can you help me ??
Thank you

Not sure how to work with 25 fps as I am in Canada (23.976 fps) but, instead of muxing to .ts you should mux to m2ts for PS3 compatibility. If you can stream from your computer there is no file splitting required with m2ts. Are you using tsMuxeR?

the movie is in .ts format and I am using tsMuxeR to mux it from .ts to .m2ts.
I have a mac and i couldn't find any application that can share a .m2ts file to the ps3. I've been able only to share photo, divx and music :(

Can you use TVersity? Nero streams, I use Cyberlink Media Deluxe... but I am on PC.
BTW, from now on just load your mkv movie into tsMuxeR and muxt to m2ts

What is the video codec? If it AVC make sure you change the AVC level from 5.1 to 4.1 before you mux!!! You can do this in tsMuxeR.

I'm not entirely sure what your problem could be then. Is your movie 1080p or 720p... I have read that 1080p has been giving other forum member issues? Unless you are certain double check the AVC level, pretty much all of the movies I start with are at 5.1.
Otherwise I suggest to stay tuned, Ryu77 might be able to help but he is half way across the world in another time zone

Yes, its 1080p and definitely 4.1. Thing is, it works with VLC and then WMP after its been changed to .mpg.

I'm trying to use EAC3to to convert an E-AC3 stream to AC3.
Anyone know the name of the program that contains "Nero Audio Decoder 2".
I've Installed Nero 7 with a few plugins but EAC3to keeps saying it fails to find it.

Try the Libav Force Filter.

Yes, the Nero filter is recommended for AC3 decoding. Installing Nero 7 should be all that is needed. Have you installed the Nero Multi-Channel audio plug-in?

I have Nero 7 installed and the Nero option doesn't work for me, so I just use what does... Libav. I will look in to aquiring the Nero M/C plugin if it works better.
Thanks for the advice.

tsMuxeR can load .ts files, try that... just load and remux to m2ts. If that doesn't work try to demux the .ts file then mux the raw streams to m2ts.
Or... there is a program called tsremux, that should definetly do the trick.

Guys, with all due respect. I have answered this question countless times on this thread. See this post (look for the answer I gave young1298): http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_jump.cfm/621809/3939495
Also, if you have some spare time it wouldn't hurt to scan along this thread and read some of the advice that I have given others.
I think I might have to create a guide for MKV to Blu-ray using MeGUI. I think I'll get started and let you guys know when I have finished.

Right now all that is possible within the wmv container is 2.0 PCM audio, even if it is 5.1 wma.
